Beloved of All
Prayer Warriors I am requesting prayer for an ex-worker I loaned $1,150 to pay rent after her father died. Years later, the lady quit speaking to me in order to not pay me back. When her dad died, she had nothing to wear to his funeral. I paid for a dress and sweater for her, wrote the obituary, yes, and now I am out her big money. I wore out paper for a lawsuit for her, well, she was never a friend. My discernment was guiding me yesterday, and my Spirit did not agree with her particularly. When my job went out, she loaned me money here and there, and the total was $441 also a few days before the dad's funeral. Same day, I bought the dress she wore to the funeral. I returned the $441 to her. Her name is ### Brown. That has been in about almost 5 years. I also suggested that she pay me back in installments, to no avail. I need my money. I am struggling. I told her that was a loan, I could have taken her to court, and I wish I had. When I texted her last year about it, she lied, "Oh, I will pay you back," but she was keeping me at bay until the statute of limitations had expired by law, then I would not be able to sue. Lord Jesus, you see my situation. Ask your Father to bless me with my money from ### Brown. That was a lot of money. Now I am broke, job unstable. In the worthy name of Jesus. Amen.

We hear your cry for justice and restoration, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this burden before the Lord. The pain of betrayal, especially when kindness is met with deceit, cuts deeply. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 13:11, "Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by hand makes it grow." This woman’s refusal to repay what she owes is not just a financial wrong, it is a violation of God’s command to "owe no one anything, except to love one another" (Romans 13:8). Her actions reveal a heart hardened to integrity, and we must rebuke the spirit of dishonesty that has taken root in her life.

Lord Jesus, we come before You as the righteous Judge, the One who sees every hidden motive and unpaid debt. You declare in Leviticus 19:13, "You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning." This woman has withheld what is rightfully yours, and we ask You to stir conviction in her heart. Soften her conscience, Lord, and lead her to repentance. If she will not repay willingly, we ask You to intervene supernaturally, whether through unexpected provision, a change of heart, or the means to reclaim what is yours. You are the God who "executes justice for the oppressed" (Psalm 146:7), and we trust You to act on Your Word.

We also recognize the struggle you face in your own finances and job instability. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. We declare over you that the Lord is your Provider (Genesis 22:14), your Shepherd who restores your soul (Psalm 23:3), and the One who opens doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in Jesus’ name and command it to flee. You have sown generously, even in your own need, and Scripture promises, "He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness" (2 Corinthians 9:10).

For the emotional toll this has taken, we pray for healing. Betrayal wounds the spirit, but the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We ask You to replace bitterness with peace, anger with trust in Your justice, and despair with hope in Your faithfulness. You see every tear (Psalm 56:8), and we trust You to turn this trial into a testimony.

Practical steps are also needed. While the statute of limitations may have passed for legal action, we encourage you to seek wise counsel, perhaps from a trusted pastor or financial advisor, about other avenues for restitution. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Without counsel, plans fail, but with many advisers, they succeed." Continue to pray for this woman by name, asking the Lord to either move her to repayment or provide for you in another way. Remember, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand; he turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1). If she remains unrepentant, trust that God will repay what has been taken from you (Proverbs 6:31).

Finally, we must address the root of discernment. Your spirit sensed unease about this woman from the beginning, and Scripture warns, "The simple believes every word, but the prudent considers well his steps" (Proverbs 14:15). We pray for sharpened discernment in future dealings, that you would be "wise as serpents and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16). May the Lord guard your heart and your finances, teaching you to walk in wisdom with others.

Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for our sister in Christ. You know her needs before she speaks them (Matthew 6:8), and we ask You to move mightily on her behalf. Restore what has been stolen, provide stability in her work, and let her see Your hand at work in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the enemy’s schemes will be turned back on his own head. May she experience Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and Your provision that exceeds her expectations. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who paid our debt in full and holds all authority in heaven and on earth. Amen.

Oh, we’re praying for you right now, this feels so heavy, but we’re lifting this up with you. There’s something about how the Lord has been speaking to your heart about this woman, your spirit didn’t agree with her from the start, and that’s not a coincidence. We’re asking the Lord to open her eyes to the truth of what she’s done, not just to your money, but to the integrity of her own heart. She owed you more than just that $1,150; she owed you kindness, trust, and respect, and the Lord sees that.

We’re praying that the Holy Spirit would stir conviction in her, but also that He would provide a way for you to be restored. Maybe it’s through unexpected provision, maybe it’s through her own heart changing, or maybe it’s through a supernatural turn of events that honors your trust in God. Either way, we’re declaring that the Lord is your Provider, and He won’t let this debt go unpaid, whether through her hands or His.

At the same time, we’re praying for your peace and provision. This job instability is tough, and we know the enemy loves to strike when we’re already stretched thin. But the Lord is your Shepherd, and He’s not going to let you walk through this without His care. We’re asking Him to open doors for you, to provide what you need, and to give you the strength to trust Him in the waiting.

And oh, we’re praying for your heart too. This betrayal has hurt, and we don’t want bitterness to take root. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He’s asking you to release this to Him. Let Him handle the justice, the healing, and the restoration. You’ve done your part, now let Him do His.

We’re also praying for wisdom in how to move forward practically. If there’s a way to reclaim what’s rightfully yours, we’re asking the Lord to show you the path. But even if it doesn’t look like we expect, we trust that He’s working all things together for your good. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
