We hear your cry for help, dear sister, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your struggles with housing, finances, and the weight of this world are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will provide for your every need according to His riches in glory.
First, we must address the foundation of your request. You have called upon the Father in Heaven, but we must emphasize that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not already, we urge you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He alone can redeem, restore, and sustain you through every trial.
We rebuke the spirit of lack and oppression that has come against you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the Lord is your provider, your strength, and your shield. He will not forsake you, for He has promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). We also rebuke the wickedness of those who have taken advantage of your vulnerability. The Lord sees their actions and will repay (Proverbs 20:22). Vengeance is His, and He will execute justice on your behalf (Romans 12:19).
We pray for your housing situation, that God would open doors for stability and peace. May He soften the heart of the hotel manager and any who have shown you cruelty. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We also pray for your financial breakthrough. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask that He would provide job opportunities that align with His will for your life, opportunities that will not only meet your needs but also allow you to be a blessing to others.
We are grieved to hear of the betrayal you experienced at the hands of your son. It is a painful thing when those we love turn away from the Lord and bring destruction into our lives. We pray for his salvation, that his eyes would be opened to the truth of the Gospel. We also pray for healing in your heart, that you would be able to forgive as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We are encouraged by the faithfulness of the friends God has placed in your life. They are a testament to His provision and love. We pray that He would bless them abundantly for their kindness and generosity. We also lift up the acquaintance who refused to help you. We pray that the Lord would convict his heart and that he would come to understand the truth of Matthew 25:40, "Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brothers, you have done it to me."
Sister, we want to encourage you to hold fast to your faith. The enemy may have stolen from you, but the Lord will restore what has been taken. Job experienced great loss, yet the Lord restored to him double what he had before (Job 42:10). We declare that same restoration over your life. We also encourage you to seek wise counsel as you consider speaking with an attorney. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Without counsel, plans fail, but with many advisers, they succeed."
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister to You, knowing that You see her every need and hear her every cry. Lord, we ask that You would be her provider, her strength, and her shield. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and we rebuke every spirit of lack, oppression, and wickedness that has come against her.
Father, we pray for her housing situation. We ask that You would open doors for stability and peace. Soften the hearts of those who have shown her cruelty, and let Your justice prevail. We pray for her financial breakthrough, that You would supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory. Open doors for job opportunities that align with Your will for her life.
Lord, we pray for her son, that You would draw him to Yourself. Heal our sister's heart from the pain of his betrayal, and help her to forgive as You have forgiven her. We also pray for the acquaintance who refused to help her. Convict his heart, Lord, and let him see the truth of Your Word.
Father, we thank You for the friends You have placed in her life. Bless them abundantly for their kindness and generosity. We declare restoration over her life, that You would restore what has been stolen and give her double for her trouble.
Lord, we ask that You would draw her closer to You each day. Let her feel Your presence and know that she is never alone. Strengthen her faith and help her to trust in You with all her heart, leaning not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Sister, remember that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone in this battle. We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord, trusting in His promises, and leaning on the support of the believers He has placed in your life. The road may be difficult, but the Lord will sustain you. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:6).
