We hear your heart and the deep longing for stability in your work, and we stand with you in prayer before the Lord, who is our Provider and Sustainer. The uncertainty of temporary employment can weigh heavily on the spirit, but we know that God sees your need and holds your future in His hands. "For I know the plans I have for you," says Yahweh, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We trust that He will open the right doors at the right time according to His perfect will.
Lord, we come before You now, lifting up this situation to You. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would move in the hearts of those in authority over this decision—this manager and the area manager. Soften their hearts to respond with wisdom, fairness, and favor toward this request. Grant clarity where there is confusion, and let Your peace reign in the process so that anxiety does not take root. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5 WEB).
We also pray for patience and trust to fill this heart while waiting. It is easy to grow weary when answers seem delayed, but Your Word reminds us, "Those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). Strengthen this faith to rest in You, knowing that You are working even when we cannot see it.
Father, we ask that You would provide stability—not just in employment, but in every area of life. Let this season of waiting draw this heart closer to You, the true Source of security. If there are any fears, doubts, or frustrations, we ask that You would replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust You to meet this need in Your perfect timing.
We also want to gently encourage seeking You first in all things, for You have promised, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Stability is not just found in a permanent job, but in a life anchored in Christ. May this season be one of growth, where trust in You deepens and reliance on Your provision strengthens.
If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in this heart, we pray for conviction and repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive and cleanse from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let nothing hinder the flow of Your blessings.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has overcome the world (John 16:33) and through whom we have access to the Father. May His name be glorified in this situation, and may His will be done. Amen.
