We hear the deep anguish in your heart, and we stand with you in this painful trial, lifting your cries to the throne of grace. The injustice you have endured is grievous, and the weight of deception has pressed heavily upon you and your family. We acknowledge the righteous anger you feel toward those who have stolen from you, lied to you, and caused such financial and emotional devastation. Your suffering is real, and we do not dismiss it lightly.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. You have called upon God in the name of Jesus, and this is the only way to approach the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). We urge you not to let the actions of wicked people shake your faith in the One who is just, holy, and true. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. Do not let the thief rob you of your hope in Christ.
The Bible is clear that God hates injustice and oppression. Proverbs 11:1 declares, "A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight." The wicked may prosper for a time, but their end is destruction (Psalm 73:18-19). You have asked why God seems slow to act, and Scripture gives us insight into His timing. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God’s delay is not indifference; it is mercy, giving the wicked time to turn from their sins. Yet we also know that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will repay. The psalmist declares, "For the Lord loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked will be cut off" (Psalm 37:28). The wicked will not escape God’s judgment.
You have expressed frustration that the wicked seem to prosper while you suffer. We understand this pain, for the psalmist Asaph cried out in Psalm 73:3, "For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked." Yet he later realized that their prosperity is temporary, and their end is ruin (Psalm 73:17-19). The wicked may seem to thrive now, but their destruction is certain. Proverbs 22:8 warns, "He who sows wickedness reaps trouble, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed." We must trust that God sees all and will bring justice in His perfect time.
You have also asked why you must pursue legal action if God is the Judge. The Bible instructs us to seek justice through lawful means. Romans 13:4 tells us that governing authorities are God’s servants to bring justice, and we are to submit to them. Pursuing legal action is not a lack of faith; it is using the means God has provided to seek restitution. Yet we must also remember that our ultimate trust is in God, not in human courts. Proverbs 20:22 says, "Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for the Lord, and he will save you." We must do what is right and trust God to bring justice.
We rebuke the spirit of despair and unbelief that seeks to take root in your heart. The enemy wants you to doubt God’s goodness, but we declare that the Lord is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). You have asked if God has ears or eyes, and we affirm that He does. Psalm 34:15 declares, "The Lord’s eyes are toward the righteous, and his ears listen to their cry." God hears your prayers, and He sees your suffering. He is not indifferent to your pain. Isaiah 63:9 says, "In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. He bore them, and carried them all the days of old."
We must also address the requests for physical punishment upon the wicked. While your anger is understandable, we must align our hearts with God’s Word. Romans 12:19-21 instructs, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’ Therefore, ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.’ Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." We are not to repay evil with evil but to trust God to bring justice. Our prayers should be for repentance and restoration, not destruction.
You have also expressed concern about the length of human life and God’s timing. While it is true that our days are shorter than those of the patriarchs, we must trust that God’s timing is perfect. Psalm 90:12 says, "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." We are called to trust in the Lord and wait patiently for Him (Psalm 37:7). His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His timing is always perfect, even when it does not align with our desires.
Now, let us lift your requests to the Lord in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother and his family who have been deeply wounded by injustice. Lord, You see the pain, the financial strain, and the emotional turmoil they are enduring. You know the lies, the deceit, and the theft that have been committed against them. We ask that You would arise as their Defender and bring justice swiftly. Lord, You are the God who executes justice for the oppressed (Psalm 103:6), and we ask that You would move on their behalf.
Father, we pray for the wicked man and his wife who have caused this harm. We ask that You would soften their hearts and bring them to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their sins. If they refuse to repent, we trust that You will bring Your judgment upon them in Your perfect time. We rebuke the spirit of deception and fraud that has taken hold of them, and we ask that You would break its power in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we ask for financial restoration for our brother and his family. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. Provide for their needs, Lord, and release them from the burden of debt. Give them wisdom in their legal pursuits and grant them favor with those who can help them.
We pray for the family members seeking employment. Lord, You are the God who opens doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide them with permanent jobs in government or public sectors as per their qualifications. Until then, grant them temporary work to sustain them. Let them be a light in their workplaces, glorifying You through their integrity and diligence.
Father, we lift up the family member who attended the state government recruitment examination. We ask that You would open the door for this job opportunity. Let him be a witness to Your goodness and grace, sharing Your love with those he serves.
Lord, we pray for the marriage request. You are the One who brings godly spouses together (Proverbs 19:14). We ask that You would reveal the right bridegroom for this family member—a man of integrity, with good habits, and a heart after You. Let this marriage be a union that honors You and brings glory to Your name.
Father, we also pray for the requests to provide employment and education to the poor. You are the God who cares for the needy (Psalm 140:12), and we ask that You would open doors for our brother and his family to be a blessing to others. Let them be instruments of Your provision and grace.
Lord, we ask that You would restore hope and faith in our brother’s heart. Let him see Your hand at work, even in the midst of this trial. Strengthen his trust in You, and let him not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). Remind him that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28), even when he cannot see it.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would protect this family from the schemes of the enemy. Guard their hearts from bitterness and despair. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them rest in the assurance that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1).
We declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them closer to You. We trust that You will bring justice, restoration, and blessing in Your perfect time. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to your faith, even when the road is difficult. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will not abandon you. Continue to seek Him, trust in His promises, and walk in obedience. Justice will come, and your faith will be rewarded. Do not grow weary, for the Lord is faithful.
