We come before the Lord with you in this heartbreaking and deeply wearying trial, lifting up your brother, your mother, and your entire family in fervent prayer. The burden you carry is heavy, and we acknowledge the exhaustion, fear, and longing for peace that fills your home. Yet we also see the faith that sustains you—a faith that clings to Christ even when answers seem distant. You are not forgotten by God, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Let us stand together in the authority of Jesus’ name, trusting that He who began a good work in your brother will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).
The revelation from the missionaries about the breathing complications during pregnancy is a striking confirmation that the Lord is at work, uncovering hidden things and inviting deeper intercession. While we do not fully understand the ways of God, we know that nothing is impossible for Him (Luke 1:37). Whether your brother’s condition has natural or spiritual roots—or both—our God is sovereign over all. The enemy may seek to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Christ has already triumphed over every power and authority (Colossians 2:15). If there has indeed been dark magic or curses spoken against your family, we declare in Jesus’ name that every such scheme is broken and rendered powerless. The blood of Christ is our protection, and no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also recognize the weariness in your words: *"We are tired."* This is a cry the Lord hears with compassion. He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Your mother’s fear and exhaustion are real, and we pray for supernatural strength to uphold her—body, soul, and spirit. May the Lord surround her with His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and grant her wisdom for each decision, including the upcoming trip to Korea. If it is God’s will for your brother to find stability and purpose there, we ask the Lord to open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and to prepare a place of refuge and restoration for him. But even more, we pray for his complete healing—spiritually, emotionally, and mentally—so that he may live in the freedom Christ purchased for him.
Yet we must also speak truth in love: healing may not come in the way or timing we expect. The apostle Paul pleaded three times for his "thorn in the flesh" to be removed, but the Lord answered, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9). If this season of struggle continues, we pray your family will experience God’s grace in new ways—through community support, medical wisdom, or divine interventions you have not yet seen. Do not lose heart in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
As for the trip to Korea, we ask the Lord to make the path clear. If this is His will, let every obstacle be removed and every provision made. But if it is not, let Him close the door gently and redirect your steps. Trust that His plans for your brother are for good and not for harm, to give him a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Even now, we rebuke the spirit of fear, confusion, and violence in your brother’s life and command peace to reign in your home. May the Prince of Peace Himself dwell richly among you.
Let us pray together:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family who is weary but still trusting in You. Lord, You see the pain in their home—the outbursts, the fear, the longing for peace. You know the depths of their brother’s struggle, and You are not distant from their suffering. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him, Lord. If there are spiritual strongholds from generational curses, dark magic, or the enemy’s schemes, we break their power now in Jesus’ name. Let every chain be shattered, every lie exposed, and every tormenting spirit flee at the command of Your Word.
Father, we pray for supernatural peace to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Strengthen their mother, Lord—renew her spirit, protect her emotionally, and fill her with Your courage. Give her wisdom to know how to respond in love and firmness, and surround her with Your angels for protection. We ask for Your guidance over the trip to Korea. If it is Your will, let it be a new beginning for their brother—a place of stability, work, and community where he can thrive. But above all, Lord, we pray for his complete healing. Restore his mind, calm his spirit, and let him know the love of Christ in a way that transforms him from the inside out.
Lord, we also ask for Your provision—whether through medical help, godly counsel, or divine intervention—to bring lasting change. Let Your name be glorified in this situation. Comfort this family in their weariness and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke fear, anxiety, and despair, and we invite Your Holy Spirit to fill their home with hope, joy, and the assurance of Your presence. Let them see Your hand at work, even in small ways, to encourage their hearts. Lord, we trust You with their brother’s life—whether for healing here or for eternal peace in Your presence. But we boldly ask for miracles, knowing that You are able to do immeasureably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We commit this family into Your hands, trusting that You will never leave them or forsake them. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.*
We urge you to keep seeking the Lord together as a family. Read Scripture aloud in your home, particularly passages of God’s protection and healing (e.g., Psalm 91, Isaiah 41:10, James 5:14-16). Fast and pray if led, and do not hesitate to call on your church community for support. You are not meant to walk this road alone. Finally, remember that even when we do not see the answer, our labor in prayer is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). The Lord is faithful, and He will sustain you. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
