Beloved of All
Please pray urgently for my family. My brother is very unwell and has severe autism, which causes constant screaming and violent outbursts. He is mistreating my mother and now threatening to call and have her pension removed. The situation has become unbearable, and one of the neighbours is even moving out because of the noise. We have already tried everything — the police, doctors, pastors, and family members have all tried to help. My cousins even offered my mother a safe place to stay, but she refused to leave. Nothing has worked, and we are exhausted. I ask Jesus Christ to intervene and protect my mother. Lord, please stop my brother’s aggression and confusion, and make a way for my mother to live safely and peacefully — whether here with me in England or with our family in Brazil. Please free her from this suffering and bring peace to our home. Lord Jesus, we are tired and in deep distress. Please have mercy on us, restore calm, and deliver our family from this turmoil. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen.

We lift your heartbreaking situation before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that He is the God of all comfort and the Father of mercies. Your plea is heard, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that He will intervene mightily in this storm. The trials you face are overwhelming, but we know that nothing is too difficult for our Lord, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we can boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy in our time of need.

The aggression and confusion your brother is experiencing are painful to witness, and we recognize the spiritual battle at hand. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that your family may have life and have it abundantly. While autism is a complex condition, we also know that spiritual oppression can exacerbate such behaviors, and we must address this with authority in prayer. Your brother needs both medical and spiritual intervention, and we pray that God will open doors for the right professionals to step in with wisdom and discernment. We also rebuke any spirits of violence, confusion, and aggression in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding them to flee and be replaced by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding.

To your mother, we say with love and urgency: the Lord has provided options for your safety, and it is not selfish or wrong to accept them. Scripture reminds us that we are to honor our fathers and mothers, but it also teaches us that we must not enable harm or remain in situations where our well-being is continually at risk. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, we are told that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to glorify God in our bodies. This includes protecting ourselves from physical and emotional harm. Your mother’s refusal to leave may stem from a place of love or guilt, but we gently urge her to consider that her well-being is vital—not just for herself, but for the entire family. If she is exhausted and broken, she cannot be the support your brother needs, nor can she walk in the strength the Lord desires for her. Sometimes, stepping away is the most loving thing we can do—for ourselves and for others—so that God can work in ways we cannot see while we are in the midst of the chaos.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel from your pastors or trusted believers in your church community. This is not a burden you should carry alone, and the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens. If your mother is unwilling to leave, perhaps a short-term separation could be arranged, where she stays with family while respite care or professional support is put in place for your brother. This is not abandonment; it is wisdom. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Lean on the wisdom of those around you, and do not let pride or fear prevent you from accepting the help that God is providing through others.

For your brother, we pray for a supernatural touch from the Lord. We ask that God would calm his mind and spirit, that He would bring clarity where there is confusion, and that He would surround your brother with the right people—medical professionals, caregivers, or even believers who can minister to him in love and truth. We pray that any spiritual strongholds in his life would be broken, and that the peace of Christ would rule in his heart. Colossians 3:15 says, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." Though your brother may not understand this now, we declare that God’s peace will invade his life and bring transformation.

We also pray for your neighbors and the broader impact of this situation. The fact that someone is moving out due to the noise is a sign of how severe the circumstances have become. We ask the Lord to soften the hearts of those around you, to give them patience and compassion, and to provide a solution that brings restoration to all involved. Perhaps this could even be an opportunity for someone in your community to step in and offer practical help or prayer support. We pray that God would turn this trial into a testimony of His faithfulness.

Finally, we want to remind you that even in this valley, God is with you. Psalm 23:4 says, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me." You are not forgotten, and your tears are seen by the Lord. He is collecting them in His bottle, and He will act on your behalf. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking His face. Do not lose heart, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in their time of deep distress. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. You know the pain, the exhaustion, and the desperation they feel. We ask You to intervene in this situation with Your mighty hand. Lord Jesus, You calmed the storm with a word, and we ask You to speak peace into this home now. Rebuke the winds of chaos and confusion, and command them to be still.

Father, we pray for this brother who is suffering. We ask that You would touch his mind and bring healing where there is brokenness. Lord, if there are any spiritual forces at work, we bind them now in the name of Jesus and command them to leave. We pray for divine wisdom for the doctors, caregivers, and family members involved, that they would know how to help him in a way that brings glory to Your name. Give them creativity, patience, and strength to walk this difficult path.

Lord, we lift up this mother who is enduring so much. We ask that You would surround her with Your love and give her the courage to make decisions that honor You and protect her well-being. Softening her heart to receive the help that has been offered, and show her that stepping away is not failure but wisdom. Provide for her a place of refuge, whether in England or Brazil, where she can find rest and restoration. Let her know that she is not abandoning her son but trusting You to work in ways she cannot see.

Father, we pray for this entire family—strengthen them, unite them, and fill them with Your peace. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding them that You are their shelter in the storm. We ask for supernatural provision, whether through professional help, financial support, or the intervention of godly people in their lives. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way.

Lord, we also pray for the neighbors and all those affected by this situation. Soften their hearts and give them patience. Use this trial to draw people to Yourself, that they may see Your power and glory displayed in this family’s life.

Finally, Father, we thank You that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We declare that this family will testify of Your faithfulness, that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good. Restore what has been broken, Lord, and bring beauty from these ashes.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear friend, we're right here with you, holding your family close in our hearts. We've been thinking about you and your mother, and we want to encourage you with a few things.

First, we want to remind you that God is with you, even in the midst of this storm. He sees your mother's strength and resilience, and He's proud of her for trying to navigate this situation with such love and care. But we also want to remind her, and you, that it's okay to ask for help. In fact, it's not just okay, but it's necessary. God has given us each other for a reason, and He wants us to lean on one another, especially in times like these.

We've been praying for your brother too. We believe that God can touch his mind and bring healing to the brokenness he's experiencing. We're asking God to give the doctors, caregivers, and family members involved divine wisdom to help him in a way that brings glory to God's name. We're also binding any spiritual forces at work and commanding them to leave in Jesus' name.

We've also been thinking about your neighbors and the broader impact of this situation. We're asking God to soften their hearts, give them patience and compassion, and provide a solution that brings restoration to all involved. Maybe this could even be an opportunity for someone in your community to step in and offer practical help or prayer support.

Finally, we want to remind you that even in this valley, God is with you. He sees your tears, and He's collecting them in His bottle. He will act on your behalf in due season. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking His face. Do not lose heart, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint.

Let's keep praying together, okay? We're in this with you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
