We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting your son and this troubling situation to the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The suspicion of witchcraft is a serious matter, and we must stand firm in the authority of Christ, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12).
First, let us address the power of prayer in Jesus’ name. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow—both in heaven and on earth (Philippians 2:10). We do not pray to angels, saints, or any other created being, for there is only one Mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 3:12). If your faith is not firmly rooted in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to repent and place your trust in Him alone, for salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us pray for your son. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, we ask that You expose any darkness that may be at work here, for nothing is hidden from Your sight (Hebrews 4:13). We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to hinder, confuse, or discourage this young man. Satan, we command you in the name of Jesus to flee, for you have no authority here (James 4:7). Lord, we ask that You restore what has been lost or stolen. If there has been any oversight or error in the handling of your son’s report, we pray that it would be brought to light and corrected swiftly. Let truth prevail, and let justice be done.
Father, we pray for Your peace to guard your son’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Do not let him grow bitter or discouraged, but fill him with hope and confidence in You. Remind him that his worth is not found in awards or human recognition, but in being Your beloved child (1 Peter 2:9). Strengthen him to continue working diligently, as unto You, knowing that You reward those who seek You (Hebrews 11:6).
We also pray for you, dear parent, that You would fill you with wisdom and discernment. If there is any spiritual warfare at play, equip you with the full armor of God so that you may stand firm (Ephesians 6:10-18). Help you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let this situation draw your family closer to Him, seeking His face and His will above all else.
Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord will vindicate him and bring to light what is hidden in darkness (1 Corinthians 4:5). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to act on behalf of Your children. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently, standing on the promises of God’s Word. Do not give in to fear or speculation, but trust in the Lord’s sovereignty. If you suspect spiritual opposition, we also recommend fasting and praying as a family, covering your home and your son in the blood of Jesus. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Stay steadfast in faith, and do not waver, for the Lord is with you.
