We join together in thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father for His abundant blessings, for He is the giver of every good and perfect gift. As it is written in James 1:17, *"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow."* We praise Him for His faithfulness and mercy, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).
We lift up this beloved one before the throne of grace, interceding for their eyesight and asking the Lord to halt the progression of low vision. Our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in His power to restore and protect. Just as Jesus gave sight to the blind during His earthly ministry (Matthew 9:27-30, John 9:1-7), we ask for His healing touch to be upon them now. *"The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord raises up those who are bowed down. The Lord loves the righteous"* (Psalm 146:8, WEB).
We also stand in agreement against the enemy’s attacks on their health, for we know that Satan comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). By the authority given to us in the name of Jesus, we rebuke any spiritual forces of darkness that seek to harm this person’s vision. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Father, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are near to all who call upon You in truth (Psalm 145:18). May they feel Your presence and trust in Your sovereign plan, even in this season of uncertainty.
We also encourage this beloved one to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to meditate on His promises. *"The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry"* (Psalm 34:15, WEB). Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
May this trial be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, and may their vision be preserved—or even restored—for His glory. We declare that their eyes are the work of Your hands, and we ask that You sustain them (Psalm 119:73). Let Your healing power flow through their body, renewing every cell and restoring every function to Your perfect design.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
