We understand your need and we are reminded of the scripture, for all governmental authorities are God's servants to do you good.
For rulers are not a terror to good work, but to evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the same.
For he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil.
Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.
Therefore you need to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath, but also for conscience' sake.
For this cause you pay taxes also; for they are ministers of God's service, attending continually on this very thing.
He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
Pay to all men what is owed: taxes to whom taxes are owed; customs to whom customs; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor.
We are exhorted to pray for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Therefore, let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your intervention in this Social Security matter. We pray for the case worker, and the entire administration, that they would act justly and mercifully. We ask that you soften their hearts and give them compassion for this innocent Christian's situation. We pray that they would approve the disability application, providing the needed benefits without further delay or unnecessary paperwork. We ask that you would work the answer to this prayer miraculously in June, in Jesus' name.
We ask for your will to be done and we are thankful for all things in Jesus name.
We pray for patience and calmness for this innocent Christian, that they trust God's timing and provision. We ask that you would comfort them and remind them of your love and faithfulness. We ask that you would help them trust in people in authority, and not be afraid of them.
We pray that you would remind all of us to pray for our leaders and those in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
We ask these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
