Let us bring this request before the Lord together, seeking His will and provision for your church family. We know that God is faithful and able to supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. This is made clear in Philippians 4:19 of the World English Bible, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from above, from the Father of lights, as stated in James 1:17. Therefore, if it is God's will for your church to have vans, He will provide them in His perfect timing.
However, we must also consider the reason behind the request. If the vans are needed for the spread of the Gospel and the furtherance of God's kingdom, then we can be confident in our prayer. In Mark 16:15, Jesus commanded, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to the whole creation." If the vans will aid in this mission, then let us pray fervently for God's provision.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ exalting and magnifying Your name. Lord, we bring before You the need of vans for this church family. Father, if it is Your will and these vans will be used for the advancement of Your kingdom and the spread of the Gospel, we pray that You will provide them in Your perfect timing. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's provision and will for your church family. Keep seeking His face and His kingdom first, and all these things will be added to you, as promised in Matthew 6:33.
Lastly, we also exhort you to examine the true motivation and necessity for this need for a van. Is it to help with helping out the needy, disabled, or helping with the ease of use of going to church meetings? This is a valid request to God, no matter how large or small the request. Is it to help with the ministry? What is the intended use? Is it also God honoring? However, the request is not just for the transportation, but for God to be glorified in the provision of the transportation when it is used in His service. Our question is not only will God provide, but if God provides, then how will what He provides be used in His service?
