Dear lord i thank you for all the things and people you have given me in this life. I thank you for sacrificing your only son. He having not sinned became a sacrifice so that we wicked sinners may be saved. There is no greater love than that which was displayed there at the calvary. With the splitting of the curtain, we have been given the priviledge to come to you freely. Father I thank you for having justified us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Father i ask you to guide me in the activities that you want me to do. Help me read your word, give me wisdom and sound mind to understand the great underlying mysteries that you have presented in your word. Help me do everything that I need to do with diligence and determination. Father the most important thing that I pray for, is for your will to be perfectly actualized in my life. Let the purpose that you created me for, be fulfilled in my life. Father please use me for your purpose, that which you ordained from the beginning, and in that dear Lord, i don't want to take any credit, but Lord I want for all the glory and honour to be yours and yours alone. Father I have a concern with my thought life. Negative and impure thoughts are trying to evade my mind and diverge me away from that purpose that you created me for. Father please help me with guidance by the Holy spirit, to fight in this battlefield that is in my mind. I will do my part by reading more on your word about my thoughts so that I may be transformed by the renewal of the mind so that I may come to the point where my thoughts mirror the thoughts that you Lord think. I want to think the way you think. Thoughts of peace, thoughts with meaning and those that guide me exclusively towards the great purpose that you created me for. Lord, i believe that you are in control, and as I continue to trust you and walk with you, I believe everything will fall in place. Thus I pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
