We join you in thanksgiving and rejoice with you for all that God has done in your personal life and career, and we give glory to Him for every opportunity, lesson, challenge, achievement and person He has placed along your journey. A grateful heart honors the Lord and acknowledges that every good gift comes from His hand, and your thankfulness is pleasing to Him. As you quoted, I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, with my whole heart Psalm 9:1, and we are encouraged by your desire to continue giving thanks with all your heart.
We are encouraged that you recognize it is God who gives strength and wisdom and who opens doors according to His purpose. Scripture reminds us to give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you 1 Thessalonians 5:18, and to commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, knowing that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6. He also promises, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. If you continue to seek wisdom for your career and character, remember that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5.
We pray together with you.
Heavenly Father, we thank You with all our hearts for how far You have brought our brother or sister in personal life and career. We thank You for every open door, every closed door, every lesson and challenge that has shaped character, and every person You have placed along the way. We thank You for the strength and wisdom You have already given and for Your faithfulness that has never failed. Lord, we ask You to continue shaping character into the image of Christ, increasing knowledge and skill, and guiding every career step according to Your perfect purpose. Establish the work of our hands and let favor rest upon what is done for Your glory Psalm 90:17. Lead to the doors You are preparing to open and give discernment to walk through them in humility and obedience, always giving thanks to You. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.
