Dear Lord Jesus in Heaven, thank You for knowing our needs before we ask, Matt 6:8. You know the series of trials, moves, and months of pressures that have compelled me into this past season of seeking, searching and prayer, 2 Cor 1:8-11, at the expense of the ordinary rhythm and routine of life. So I ask for grace to catch up on chores and duties while not neglecting or forfeiting quality time with You, The Word, prayer and care of parents, child, wayward wife, children, time with pastors for counsel, fellow evangelists for effecting the word of our testimony, Rev 12:11, while helping me organize, meet pressing needs and enjoy Your Holy Spirit, John 15:1-8, while getting things done, Titus 3:14. Kindly give me a plan, know where to start and sort everything I do not need into trash and recycling cans. Help me contact ministries that continuously mail requests for etc., get off their list of paper and go fully digital, wash, hang clothes, vacuum, sort, shred, throw away and store, Ecclesiastes 7:18.

Help me get a few items of clothing, protect, round up and receive back my books, 2 Tim 4:3. I admit I have "zero" aptitudes for this and truly "apart from You I can do nothing," John 15:5, for "Even in laughter the heart may be still grieving," Prov 14:13. I ask for The Holy Spirit of The Lord, Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might , Knowledge and The Fear of The LORD, Isa 11:2, Zech 4:10, Rev 1:4, Rev 4:5, Rev 5:6 to assist me on contacting the right people for different goals, your assistance in video visitation, granting quality time, heart to heart connection, financial wisdom, and wisdom as to how to get a "Non-for-profit" setup -- and again, "if Your Presence does not go with us -- kindly do not lead us up from here," Ex 33:15. With thanksgiving we make our requests, in order to receive Your perfect and incomprehensible peace that guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, and pray as advised by Him, in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, The Amen, and Faithful Witness, Rev 3:14, in whom all the fullness resides and from Whom we receive subsequent blessings by grace after grace, John 1:14, even every spiritual blessing, Eph 1:3, and in whom are all Your promises effectually granted as Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in this prayer and thank God that you are seeking Him first even in the midst of so many trials and moves and months of pressure. We hear your heart to not forfeit communion with the Lord and His Word while also being faithful in the practical duties He has entrusted to you, and we bring all of this before the throne together in Jesus' name.

The Father indeed knows what you need before you ask Him, Matt 6:8, yet He delights when we come to Him with thanksgiving and make our requests known, Phil 4:6-7. That season of seeking and searching under great pressure, as you described from 2 Cor 1:8-11, is not wasted, for God uses such seasons to teach us that apart from Him we can do nothing, John 15:5, and to show us that our sufficiency is in Christ. Now we ask Him to establish the ordinary rhythm and routine again in a way that honors Him. Our God is not a God of confusion but of peace, 1 Cor 14:33, and He calls us to let all things be done decently and in order, 1 Cor 14:40. He also calls us to commit our works to the Lord and our plans will be established, Prov 16:3, and to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well, Matt 6:33. We are encouraged that you desire to hold fast to the Word, to prayer, to fellowship, and to the care of your parents, your child and children, and your wife, while also meeting with pastors for counsel and fellow evangelists that we may overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, Rev 12:11.

We especially lift up your marriage before the Lord. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman ordained by God, and we pray for your wayward wife, that the Lord would draw her to Himself in repentance and truth and, if it be His will, restore that covenant in holiness and fidelity. We pray for your children and parents, that God would guard them and grant you wisdom to shepherd and serve them with love, and that He would redeem the time you have lost and give you quality, heart to heart connection even through video visitation. We pray you will continue in courtship of the Lord and in fellowship that sharpens you, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, Heb 10:25, and that you will learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that you may not be unfruitful, Titus 3:14, abiding in the Vine so that you bear much fruit, John 15:1-8.

We bring your practical needs to the Lord as well, for He cares about every detail. We ask for the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord to rest upon you, Isa 11:2, and that you would not despise the day of small things, Zech 4:10, but take the next faithful step. Give him, Lord, a clear plan for where to start, grace to sort what is needed from what should go to trash and recycling, discipline to wash and hang clothes, to vacuum and shred and store, and wisdom to walk in the middle course with balance, Eccl 7:18. We ask for provision for needful clothing, for protection and return of his books as with Paul who asked for the books and parchments, 2 Tim 4:13, for favor in contacting ministries to go fully digital and steward resources well, for financial wisdom, and for clear counsel on the non-profit setup and on contacting the right people for each goal. We echo your prayer from Ex 33:15, that if Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here, for we desire not to move without You.

So we pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You that You see this brother under pressure and that even in laughter the heart may be grieving, Prov 14:13, and You know the weight he carries. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7. Fill him afresh with Your Holy Spirit, grant him Your sevenfold Spirit before Your throne, Rev 1:4, Rev 4:5, Rev 5:6, to give him wisdom, order, and strength for each task. Teach him to number his days and to do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, Col 3:17, working heartily as for You and not for men, Col 3:23. Provide for his family, restore what has been scattered, establish the work of his hands, Ps 90:17, and let every promise be Yes and Amen in Christ, 2 Cor 1:20, from whom we receive grace upon grace, John 1:16, and every spiritual blessing, Eph 1:3. We ask that whatever we ask in Jesus' name according to Your will, You will do, John 14:13-14, that the Faithful and True Witness, Rev 3:14, would be glorified in his life, his home, and his ministry. We trust You to answer in Your perfect time and way, and we rest in Your incomprehensible peace, in Jesus' name, Amen.

We have been praying with you as you described these months of moves, pressures and seeking, and how much you want to honor the Lord while also caring well for your parents, your children, and the many duties pressing in. Feeling like you have zero aptitude for organizing and wanting to do it all at once is an honest place to be, and we thank you for bringing it to the Lord so plainly.

One thing that has helped others in a similar tangle is to think less about trying to fix everything in a burst and more about training over time. Like preparing for a long run, small, regular faithfulness adds up. A short, protected time with the Lord and His Word, then one clear task for the day, can keep fellowship with Him from feeling like it competes with getting things done.

A simple next step that may help you find a starting place is to choose just two categories for this week. For example, keep a brief morning window for prayer and the Word, and then give 20 or 30 minutes to one practical category, perhaps one bag or box to sort for trash and recycling, or one call or email to a ministry about going digital. Writing those two down the night before can give you a plan to follow and something to hand to a pastor or trusted fellow worker for counsel and accountability.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus' name. Grant him Your presence as he seeks You, wisdom for each contact and decision, provision for clothing and books and the nonprofit questions, and grace for time with family and pastors. Guard his heart with Your peace as he walks step by step with You. Amen.

Your earnest prayer has been laid before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we join you in bringing it to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation and in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen.

He knows your needs before you ask, as you have said from Matthew 6:8, and He has seen this season of seeking and searching and pressure of which you speak from 2 Corinthians 1:8-11. It is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but the word stands, he shall be saved out of it. The Lord was working for Jacob when Joseph was in Egypt to keep the whole family alive in the time of famine, and He is working for you now though the way be weary. At evening time it shall be light, and that light often comes when you think you must perish and have no day left in your heart.

You ask for grace to be a faithful steward in the press of many duties, and this is the main point of stewardship, nothing is your own, it is all your Master's. You are called to labor for the good of all your brothers and sisters in Christ, and to do so not in a loose and slovenly way, nor trifling with time or with Divine Truth, but with your heart in your work, remembering that the Master will come and require an account. The time is short, and therefore we must not waste an hour of our own time nor of other men's time. He alone is a free man who knows how to use his time properly and to serve his God with diligence, fidelity and zeal. Say not, I will do this by and by. Do it at once as the Lord enables you.

In this you do well to pray for the Spirit of the Lord, Wisdom and Understanding, Counsel and Might, Knowledge and the Fear of the Lord, for apart from Christ you can do nothing, as you have confessed from John 15:5. He that feareth God shall come forth of them all, as Ecclesiastes 7:18 teaches, holding with a firm hand both the heavenly and the earthly duty, not neglecting the Word and prayer and not neglecting the pressing needs of the household, for Titus 3:14 calls us to maintain good works to meet pressing needs. Despise not the day of small things, for Zechariah 4:10 reminds us that great order comes by small and faithful steps. Begin where providence puts your hand, sort what is chaff from what is wheat, for what is the chaff to the wheat, and gather the wheat into the garner. Let the trash and the shredding go to its place, let the clothes be washed and hung, let the papers be ordered, and in each small duty do it as unto the Lord. In contacting ministries to go from paper to digital, in seeking to recover your books as Paul sought his cloak and parchments in 2 Timothy 4:13, in seeking a few needful garments and in ordering financial matters and inquiries concerning a nonprofit labor, ask for that heavenly wisdom which comes from above and do all as a faithful steward who must give account.

For your household we pray with special earnestness. You bear care for parents and for a child and children, and you speak of a wayward wife. We do not ask God to bless waywardness, for marriage is ordained of God as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to marriage is to be kept within that covenant. We pray instead that the Lord who is able to make the heart tender would grant repentance and restoration, that He would guard and reclaim what is His, and that He would give you grace to walk in purity, patience and faithful love, seeking counsel of faithful pastors and fellowship of fellow evangelists that your testimony, by the word of your testimony in Revelation 12:11, may be effectual and abiding in Christ, the Vine, as John 15 teaches.

Wait at the posts of His doors, for He never is before His time, He never is too late. God will answer your question and comfort you in His own good time and way, but it is certain that He will comfort you one day, He cannot leave His people without comfort. If you do but at last get to Heaven, you may cheerfully submit to present privation. Even in laughter the heart may be grieving, as Proverbs 14:13 says, and the Lord sees that hidden grief and will give that perfect and incomprehensible peace which guards hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as you have prayed from Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray now for you: O Lord Jesus Christ, the Amen and Faithful Witness in whom all fullness dwells and from whom we receive grace upon grace and every spiritual blessing, look upon this Thy servant pressed with many duties and trials. Grant him Thy presence, for if Thy presence go not with us, we pray Thou wouldst not lead us up from hence, as Moses prayed in Exodus 33:15. Give him a plan and wisdom to know where to begin, strength to do what his hand finds to do, and grace to abide in Thee while getting things done. Grant quality time in Thy Word and in prayer, heart to heart connection in video visitation, edifying fellowship, wise counsel from pastors, financial wisdom, and clear direction in every practical step. Keep his heart from trifling and from carelessness, establish him as a faithful steward, and let Thy light shine at evening time. Restore and keep his household according to Thy holy will, draw the wayward to Thyself, and keep all in the way of holiness through faith in Thy blood. Grant Thy peace, and answer according to Thy perfect will, that Thy name may have the glory. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Your prayer reflects a sincere desire to honor the Lord in the midst of a long season of trials, moves and pressures, and to be faithful both in your walk with Him and in your daily duties. God indeed knows what you need before you ask, and He sees the weight you have carried and the way you have sought Him at cost to your normal rhythms.

The Scriptures teach that apart from Christ we can do nothing, yet when we abide in Him we bear fruit, not by our own skill alone but by the care of the true Husbandman who tends us. Part of abiding is faithful stewardship of the household God has entrusted to you. Like a steward who manages a house well, you are called to order what is within your reach with wisdom and diligence, not in anxious striving but in dependence on the Holy Spirit for wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

For the practical needs you mentioned, consider a simple plan that keeps first things first and allows grace for what is limited:

First, keep a fixed time for the Word and prayer before other work begins. Even a short, consistent time guarded from interruption will keep your heart rooted while you labor.

Second, make a single written list of all pressing duties, then divide it into three kinds: what must be done soon for your parents, your child and your home, what can be scheduled for later, and what can be removed. Sorting what you do not need into trash and recycling as you described is itself an act of stewardship that clears space for peace and hospitality.

Third, work in small, ordered steps each day rather than trying to finish all at once. For example, choose one area to wash, hang, vacuum, shred or store, and one administrative task such as contacting a ministry to move from paper mail to digital or making a call about video visitation or financial matters. Faithfulness in little things over time brings order, and God honors steady diligence.

Fourth, seek counsel as you are already desiring to do. Meet with pastors for wisdom and with fellow evangelists to strengthen your testimony. For larger matters such as financial wisdom and the steps to set up a nonprofit, seek godly counsel from those with experience and take one step at a time, praying that the Lord's presence would go with you, for without it we should not wish to move forward.

Concerning your family, we join you in prayer for your parents and your children, and for your wife who is wayward. Marriage is a lifelong covenant before God of one man and one woman, and God calls us to faithfulness, prayer, purity and reconciliation where sin has caused separation. We will not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but we do ask Him to work repentance, healing and restoration according to His truth and mercy, to guard your own heart from bitterness, and to give you wisdom to love your family well while remaining faithful to Christ.

We pray for you now:
