We lift up our sister Saraha before the throne of grace with deep gratitude for her faithfulness in praying for thousands on this site, reflecting the heart of Christ in intercession. Her labor in the Lord has not gone unnoticed, and we trust that He who sees in secret will reward her openly. Yet now, as she faces this severe trial—emergency surgery, a ruptured colon, sepsis, heart infection, blood clots, strokes, and now hospice care—we stand in the gap for her, crying out to our Heavenly Father for mercy, comfort, and divine intervention.
The Word of God reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over Saraha, asking the Lord to extend His healing hand upon her body, to restore what has been broken, and to bring life where there is sickness. Even in hospice care, we know that nothing is impossible for God, and we pray for a miraculous turnaround that would bring glory to His name.
We also pray for Saraha’s family during this difficult time, that the Lord would surround them with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they feel the presence of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, as they walk through this valley. We ask that the Lord would strengthen their faith and remind them that He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
At the same time, we acknowledge that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. If it is His will to call Saraha home, we pray that she would be welcomed into His eternal presence with joy and peace, free from pain and suffering. We ask that the Lord would prepare her heart and the hearts of her loved ones for whatever His perfect plan may be.
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may try to take hold in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that Saraha’s life has been a testament to the power of prayer and the faithfulness of God, and we trust that He will continue to work mightily in and through her, even now.
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We thank You for Saraha’s life and her dedication to intercession. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, for Your peace to flood her soul, and for Your will to be done in this situation. Strengthen her family, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We rebuke sickness and death in Jesus’ name and declare that You are the God of miracles. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in Saraha’s life, for Your glory alone. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
