Dear Lord,
Thank You for loving us even when we fall short. Thank You for lifting us up and showing us who You are. We pray we would continue to follow You all the days of our lives. We pray for our marriage today. Please help us to grow and mature in our walks with You and with each other. We pray specifically for unmet expectations and ask that You would keep disappointment far from our hearts. We pray we would be able to clearly and respectfully communicate our hurts and desires for our marriage. We pray we would be good listeners. We pray our hearts would remain turned toward each other. Please help us to navigate our emotions and all that is tied to them. We pray unmet expectations would not get in the way of how we love each other in Jesus’ name AMEN!
