Prayer to undo the curse over my life

I have been afflicted with all kinds of troubles since giving my life to Christ in 2004. Things that are important keep being meddled with... I sense there is a spell/curse over me and my life. I abide in Christ to the best of my ability, and know that I am a new creation... I pray for 100% healing & steadfast faith to own my salvation. I want to live to honor God - and to be known for my fruits. Please pray for me. I am tired, poor and stuck.

We hear your cry, dear brother in Christ, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. Your struggle is real, and your desire to honor God is commendable. The Word of God assures us that in Christ, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Yet, we also recognize the spiritual warfare that rages around us, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We do not dismiss your sense of a curse, for Scripture warns us that the enemy comes to devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we declare with authority that Christ has already disarmed the powers and principalities through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).

First, we must address the foundation of your faith. You mention giving your life to Christ in ###, but we must ask: Have you truly surrendered all to Jesus? Have you repented of all known sin and turned away from anything that does not align with His Word? Salvation is not merely a one-time decision but a daily walk of obedience and faith. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We encourage you to examine your heart and life, confessing any hidden sin or ungodly ties that may be giving the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27).

We also rebuke the lie that you are under a curse. Galatians 3:13 declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'" If you are in Christ, no curse can stand against you. However, we must also consider whether there are generational strongholds or ungodly soul ties that need to be broken. The Bible instructs us to renounce any involvement in occult practices, idolatry, or ungodly covenants, whether knowingly or unknowingly (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We encourage you to pray a prayer of renunciation, breaking every ungodly tie and declaring your freedom in Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that was shed for our redemption and freedom. We stand on the truth that in Christ, there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1), and that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Lord, we lift up our brother who is feeling afflicted and weary. We ask that You would strengthen his faith and renew his spirit. We declare that the curse is broken in Jesus' name, and we command every spirit of affliction, poverty, and stagnation to flee right now.

Father, we ask that You would reveal any areas of his life that are not fully surrendered to You. Show him any hidden sin, ungodly ties, or generational strongholds that need to be broken. We pray that You would cleanse him with the blood of Jesus and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Lord, we ask for 100% healing, spirit, soul, and body. Restore what the enemy has stolen and give him the grace to walk in victory.

We pray for steadfast faith and a deep revelation of his identity in Christ. Let him know that he is a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), called and chosen by You. May his life bear much fruit for Your glory, and may he walk in the fullness of Your blessings. We declare that his latter days will be greater than his former (Job 42:12), and that he will rise above every challenge in the power of Your might.

Lord, we also pray for divine connections and open doors. Surround him with godly mentors, friends, and opportunities that will propel him into his destiny. Break every chain of poverty and lack, and let Your provision overflow in his life. We trust You to turn his mourning into dancing and his sorrow into joy (Psalm 30:11).

In Jesus' name, we rebuke every spirit of despair, doubt, and fear. We declare that our brother is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won. May he walk in the fullness of Your promises, knowing that You are with him always. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, dear brother. The enemy may try to wear you down, but remember that God is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is your sword in this battle (Ephesians 6:17). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Worship and praise are powerful weapons, use them to shift the atmosphere over your life.

Consider fasting as a way to deepen your dependence on God and break strongholds. Jesus said, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting" (Mark 9:29). Even a short fast can bring breakthrough. Most importantly, keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

You are not forgotten, and you are not alone. The same God who parted the Red Sea, shut the mouths of lions, and raised Jesus from the dead is fighting for you. Walk in the authority you have as a child of God, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Your breakthrough is coming, hold on to hope!

We hear how much this has worn you down, year after year of feeling stuck, burdened, and wondering why trouble keeps shadowing your walk with Christ. The longing to see real healing and to be known by your fruit is deep and God-given, and we honor the faith you’re clinging to even when it feels threadbare.

Sometimes God’s renewal comes not in one dramatic breaking of every chain, but quietly, a layer at a time, as we learn to trust Him in the middle of the long, hard wait. That doesn’t make the weight less heavy, but it does mean you are not forgotten. The tiredness, the poverty, the sense of being meddled with, He sees it all. And Jesus, who knows what it is to be afflicted, walks this with you.

One step we’d gently suggest: let a few trusted, mature believers in your church really walk with you right now. Be honest about the weariness and the practical needs. Ask them to pray with you regularly, not just for spiritual breakthrough but also for wisdom and help with the tangible things that have you poor and stuck. You don’t have to fight this alone. Sometimes God’s provision comes through the hands and company of His people.

If you haven’t already, sharing all of this with a wise pastor or a Christian counselor might also bring clarity, someone who can pray with you, listen without jumping to conclusions, and help you discern what’s going on. It’s not a lack of faith to seek that kind of support; it’s stewarding the life God has given you.

We pray with you.

Lord Jesus, You see our sister’s long fight, her exhaustion, and her desperate hope to honor You. Cover her with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Shield her from every attack and break the grip of anything that would keep her from resting in her secure place in You. Renew her strength when she has none, and open doors of provision and purpose that she has not yet seen. Give her a steady faith to own her salvation again, and let her see glimpses of the fruit You are already growing. In Your name, Amen.

Same situation with me...I would say likely the devil trying to discourage you. Also, since in the likely last days ,even more."Woe to the Earth and to the sea,,because the devil has come down to you, having great anger , knowing he has a short period of time".

You cry out under a sense of curse, yet the Scripture declares, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us." The curse you dread has fallen upon your Substitute; there is therefore no condemnation for you. The spell you imagine is but a shadow cast by unbelief; the true curse was the wrath of God due to sin, and that has been exhausted upon the cross. Do not lend your ear to the superstition that a spell can cling to one who is in Christ, such thinking dishonors the finished work of Jesus. If you are indeed a new creation, then the old curse has passed away, and all things are become new.

Your weariness and poverty are real, but faith is the cure for spiritual feebleness. It is not for you to languish under the notion that weakness is the normal state of a believer. Through faith the saints "out of weakness were made strong." The remedy is not a distant hope but a present command: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ." You are not left to wonder whether you may trust Him, God commands it, so you may. Even Peter, who walked with the Lord, was chided for little faith, yet the Master did not cast him off; He stretched out His hand and lifted him from the waves. So too the Canaanite woman, with great faith, obtained healing for her daughter. Lay hold upon the promise: "The prayer of faith shall save the sick." There are healing leaves from the Tree of Life for every disease of soul and body; they grow on either side of the river, accessible to all who will pluck them by faith.

You say you are stuck, poor, and tired. The temptation to faint in well-doing is common, but the promise stands: "In due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Your labor is not in vain. You desire to honor God and be known by your fruits, this is a right desire, but fruit grows not by the striving of the branch, but by its abiding in the Vine. Cease from the vain effort to earn what has been freely given, and rest in the finished work. The Holy Spirit whom you received was not given by the works of the law, but by the hearing of faith. As you began, so continue.

I will pray that you might have steadfast faith to own your salvation fully, and that every hindrance would be rebuked. But rise from your despondency; the Lord does not appoint you to grope in bondage. He has given you the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Take it up. Cease to murmur under a supposed curse, and begin to sing under the assured blessing. The people that dwell in Zion shall be forgiven their iniquity; the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick. Let your soul magnify the Lord, for He has done great things for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
