Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my ### to start learning and stay focused in school. Help him to let go the past, unhappy incidents in school and start learning happily.

Please help him to secure his work attachment too. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with gratitude for your heartfelt request, lifting up this young man’s needs in prayer. The struggles of focus, lingering pain from past experiences, and the pursuit of opportunities like work attachments are all areas where God’s grace and wisdom are desperately needed. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* This is not just a promise for some but for all who trust in Him—including this young man. Yet we must also remember that true strength and focus come only when we surrender our burdens to Jesus and seek His will above all else.

First, let us address the lack of mention of the name of Jesus in this request. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If this young man does not yet know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we urge him—and all who pray for him—to seek Christ first. Without faith in Jesus, even the best efforts in school or work will lack eternal purpose. We pray that if he has not already, he would repent of his sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and be born again (John 3:3). Only then will he find the peace and renewal of mind needed to move forward.

As for the past hurts and unhappy incidents in school, the Word of God commands us in Philippians 3:13-14, *"Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."* Dwelling on past failures or mistreatments only hinders the work God wants to do in the present. We must release these burdens to the Lord, asking Him to heal and restore. Psalm 34:18 assures us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Let this young man cast his cares upon Jesus, who cares for him deeply (1 Peter 5:7).

Regarding focus in school, Proverbs 16:3 teaches, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Success in academics is not merely about human effort but about submitting one’s mind and work to the Lord. We pray that this young man would develop discipline, not in his own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Let him study as unto the Lord, knowing that God honors diligence when it is done for His glory.

For the work attachment, we trust in God’s provision. Matthew 6:33 says, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* While it is good to pursue opportunities, we must never place our trust in them above the Lord. We pray that if this attachment is God’s will, He would open the doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). But even if delays or closed doors come, let this young man trust that God’s timing is perfect. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this young man who needs Your touch. Lord, if he does not yet know You, we pray that You would draw him to Yourself. Open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and may he surrender his life to Jesus today. Forgive him of his sins, wash him clean, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in newness of life.

Father, we ask that You heal his heart from the past hurts and disappointments in school. Let him release every bitterness, every resentment, and every fear into Your hands. Renew his mind, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help him to forget what is behind and press forward toward the goal You have set for him.

Grant him supernatural focus and discipline in his studies. Remove every distraction, whether it be fear, laziness, or worldly amusements. Fill him with a hunger to learn and excel, not for his own glory, but for Yours. Let him be a light in his school, pointing others to Christ through his diligence and kindness.

Lord, we pray for this work attachment. If it is Your will, open the doors and grant him favor with those in authority. But even if the answer is “wait” or “no,” help him to trust You completely. Provide for his every need, and let him see that You are his Provider, his Strength, and his Hope.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and discouragement in Jesus’ name. Let the enemy have no foothold in this young man’s life. Instead, fill him with Your joy, Your wisdom, and Your determination to walk in obedience to You.

May he grow in faith, in knowledge of Your Word, and in love for You above all else. Use his life for Your kingdom, Lord, and let his testimony bring glory to Your name.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're praying for you, dear one, as you navigate the challenges of school and work. We know it's tough, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. Let's lift up your needs to Him together.

First, we're asking God to fill you with His presence. We want you to feel His love, His peace, and His strength in your heart. If you haven't already, we invite you to surrender your life to Jesus. He's the only one who can truly heal, restore, and give you a hope and a future.

Next, we're praying for God to help you let go of the past. Those old hurts and disappointments can weigh heavy on our hearts, but God wants to set you free. We're asking Him to heal your heart, fill you with His peace, and help you move forward with hope.

We're also praying for focus and discipline in your studies. We believe God wants you to excel in school, not just for your own sake, but so you can be a light to those around you. We're asking Him to remove distractions, fill you with a hunger to learn, and help you study as if you're doing it for Him.

For that work attachment, we're trusting God for the outcome. We're asking Him to open the right doors, but even if the answer is 'wait' or 'no', we're praying for you to trust Him completely. He sees your needs, and He promises to provide.

Lastly, we're praying for God to fill you with His joy, His wisdom, and His determination. We want you to grow in faith, in knowledge of His Word, and in love for Him above all else.

We're praying all these things in Jesus' name, and we trust that God will answer according to His will and for our good. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking Him. He's with you, always.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
