Tiffany, God is shaking His people. His desire is for you to return to your first love, Jesus. When a woman's heart is so hidden in Christ no man will be able to get to it unless he goes through Jesus. What am I saying? Many believers live as the world. We are called to come out from among the world. Our lives are to reflect the light of Christ. Be ye holy for I am holy, says the Lord.
My friend shared her testimony. She lived with her boyfriend for several years. She got saved. Her Christian neighbor said to her, you are sinning. She asked how? He said you are living with a man, like husband and wife (which is sin) and you are with someone who is not saved. So she took this concern to the Lord and the Lord showed her in the word of God, that indeed, she was living in sin because sex before marriage is sin. So she told her boyfriend, I can't be with you anymore. Having a physical relationship outside of marriage is sin, so she broke it off with him. A couple months later, he came back to her and said, he wanted to be with her. She said, unless you become born again, we can never be together. A few months go by and he gets saved. Comes back to her and tells her and asks her to marry him and she is rejoicing but says, we cannot have a physical relationship until after we are married. So they kept themselves 'pure' before the Lord.
God loves you Tiffany. It's not about your bf or that you cheated on him, but it's about you and how you relate to God. It's about your relationship with God. When we get born again, we are adopted into the family of God. The love of God was so great for His creation that He came to earth as flesh (the word made flesh) and dwelt among His creation. Jesus walked among his people (creation) to reveal the heart of God and that is love. So He submitted His will to the will of His Father and died on the cross so that we can be brought back into right relationship with our Creator. Greater love has no man than this, that He lay down his life for his friends...For God so loved the world that He gave/sent His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save it. So when we get born again/saved, the blood of Jesus washes us and restores us back to God and then Holy Spirit comes and lives within us, one with our spirit. We are joined unto the Lord and we are made ONE with Him.
It's not about your boyfriend but about your relationship with God, your creator and Jesus, who redeemed your life from destruction.
So my prayer for you, Tiffany, is that you begin to discern the amazing love that God has for you and the amazing plan for your life, that may or may not include your bf, I don't know that, what I do know is that God is calling you back to your first love Jesus Christ, the Savior of your soul.
Come Holy Spirit and speak to Tiffany's heart of the magnifold love of God for her. Pour into her healing water of mercy and grace. Restore to her the joy of her salvation and renew a right spirit within her.
In the name of Jesus. Amen.
