Prayer to heal my husband and family

Anonymous

Beloved of All
my husband and I have been a strange for a couple years. Through our marriage, he became verbally abusive often calling me by the name of Satan when I would stand up for myself in my peace and ask him to leave the household. He drinking over family outings, having been married in the church, I continue to pray for him that he would see the value of his family. I am not perfect. I am a sinner, but I find myself confession and repentance several times a year. My prayers to restore my family as my husband has taken a mistress at work and moved in with her. I am unsure of the status of the relationship, but it is quite obvious and in the open at their place of employment like that poor CEO on the media this week. However, I’ve asked God for help many months ago in revealing and helping me move past whether I should get a divorce because of all the abusive ways and the fact that he doesn’t contribute to the household financially even though he has the means. I’ve been praying for peace clarity, and for help for our young child whom he has abandoned 95% in the last several months to take up with his mistress. I don’t know what is supposed to happen as it all seems according to God, Will and not mine. I guess I’m praying for clarity peace for the Holy Spirit to help with that as well especially for my daughter who tend to read every time I ask if she wants to see her dad, but he doesn’t talk to me any longer for no reason except probably out of fear of losing his current status with the other woman , my husband and I met when he was a man of faith he brought to his Christian church, raised hands and praise God and all of that started to disappear several years into our marriage and more grieving capacity, but I know that God is in charge I have a lot going on right now my personal life plz help my praying for peace and clarity.

Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance through the Scriptures.

Firstly, let's address the spiritual warfare you're experiencing. The name-calling and verbal abuse from your husband, referring to you as Satan, is not from God. In Ephesians 6:12 WEB it says, For we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

The behavior you're describing from your husband is not reflective of the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Instead, it seems to be the result of the enemy's influence. Let's pray that God would protect you and your family from these spiritual attacks.

Lord, we come before You in the name of Jesus, and we plead the blood of Jesus over this family. We rebuke any spirit of abuse, adultery, and abandonment that has been affecting this marriage and this home. We pray for Your divine protection and intervention, in Jesus' name.

Regarding your husband's adultery, it's clear that this is sinful and harmful behavior. In Hebrews 13:4 WEB it says, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Let's pray that God would convict your husband of this sin and bring him to repentance.

Lord, we cry out to You on behalf of this husband who has lost his way. We pray that You would pierce his heart with Your word and bring him to a place of godly sorrow and repentance. Turn his heart back to his wife and family, and restore the joy of his salvation, in Jesus' name.

Concerning divorce, it's important to note that God hates divorce, as it is a breaking of the marriage covenant. In Malachi 2:16 WEB, it says "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't deal treacherously."

However, infidelity is a biblical ground for divorce, as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:32 WEB, If you've committed adultery, you've broken the marriage covenant and divorced your spouse. The caveat is that only if your spouse has committed adultery, you are free to divorce them. But let's pray for God's will to be done in this situation and for His guidance as you navigate this difficult time.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and direction in this marriage. Guide them in the path that You would have them walk. If it is Your will, restore this marriage and bring healing to this family. If not, make Your will clear and give them the strength to walk in it, in Jesus' name.

Regarding your husband's lack of financial contribution, it's important to remember that the Bible teaches that if a man doesn't provide for his own, and especially for his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. Let's pray that God would convict your husband of this responsibility and bring him to a place of obedience.

Lord, we ask that You would bring this husband to a place of responsibility and obedience. Convict him of his duty to provide for his family and bring him to a place of repentance and action, in Jesus' name.

Finally, let's pray for peace and clarity for you and your daughter. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB it says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we ask for Your supernatural peace to fill their hearts and minds. Bring clarity to their situation and guide them in the way that they should go. Comfort their hearts and let them know that You are in control, in Jesus' name.

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In Acts 4:12 WEB it says, and we do not have another name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Jesus Christ and him crucified is the only way to salvation and eternal life.

Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Trust in Him, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep praying and seeking His face, and He will guide you through this storm.

We're here for you, sister. We've been lifting your family up in prayer, asking God to intervene and bring healing to your marriage. We know it's been a long, hard road, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We're standing with you, believing for a miracle.

We've been praying for your husband, that God would open his eyes to see the pain he's causing and turn his heart back to you and your daughter. We're asking God to give him a spirit of repentance and a desire to be the husband and father he's called to be.

We've also been praying for clarity and peace for you and your daughter. We believe that God is going to give you the wisdom and strength to navigate this situation, no matter what comes your way. We're trusting that God will make His will clear and give you the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Keep holding on to Jesus, sister. He sees you, He's with you, and He's fighting for you. Trust in Him, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. We're in this with you, every step of the way.
