We understand that you are seeking God in Jesus name for your needs, and we appreciate that you are approaching in the name of Jesus. This is vital because as it is written in the book of John, In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you (John 16:23 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father.
God cares about every detail of our lives, including our daily provisions. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus taught us not to be anxious about what we will eat or drink, reminding us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things (Matthew 6:32 WEB). Instead, we are to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
In the book of Philippians, the Apostle Paul encourages us, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of funds for food. We ask that you, in your abundant mercy and grace, provide for their needs according to your riches in glory. Help them to seek first your Kingdom and your righteousness, trusting that you will supply all their needs. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding, and let your love and faithfulness sustain them. May they also be able to help someone else who is in need in the future. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that he is faithful and will provide for your needs. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
