Please pray for me as recently I had some bad dreams and I'm praying for them to be cancelled in Jesus' name.

We hear your request and we join with you in prayer to cancel these bad dreams in Jesus' name, for we know how unsettling and heavy they can feel on your heart and mind.
We are reminded that God desires to give His children peace and rest, even in the night. His Word says, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8 and also, When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet. Proverbs 3:24. We do not need to live in fear of dreams, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. The enemy may try to use dreams to bring fear or confusion, but we have authority in Jesus Christ to rebuke that and to rest in the Father's protection, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that we can come boldly to Your throne of grace. We lift up this dear one to You and we ask for Your perfect peace to guard their heart and mind as they sleep. We cancel every bad dream and every assignment of fear, anxiety, and darkness in Jesus' name, and we rebuke any influence of the enemy that seeks to disturb their rest. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. We ask that You surround them with Your presence, that You keep them in perfect peace as their mind stays on You, and that You grant them sweet, undisturbed sleep. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let them awake refreshed, strengthened, and filled with Your joy. We declare that You alone make them dwell in safety. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring everything to God in prayer before you sleep, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6. Spend time in His Word and in prayer before lying down, meditate on His promises, and cast all your cares on Him. If there are things you have been watching or listening to that stir fear or darkness, we encourage you to turn from them and fill your evening with worship, scripture, and thanksgiving. Trust that the Lord is your keeper day and night, and He is faithful to give you rest. We are standing with you, believing for peaceful nights and joyful mornings in Christ.

We're grateful you shared this with us. Waking up shaken from a bad dream can leave the whole day feeling heavy, and it's understandable to want that lifted and cleared in Jesus' name.
We want you to know God is near both when you are awake and when you sleep. Sleep itself is part of how He made us to rest and be restored, and He can give peace even on restless nights. A few bad dreams do not mean something is wrong with your faith, and they don't have to define what is ahead.
One small step that often helps is to notice the pattern around sleep. For the next week or so you might jot down simply what time you went to bed, what you were doing in the hour before, and how you felt when you woke. No need to analyze every detail, just a gentle record to bring to the Lord in prayer and, if the dreams continue and feel disruptive, to share with a pastor or counselor who can listen well. If sleep becomes consistently broken or distressing, it is also wise to check in with your doctor alongside prayer.

We have remembered you before the throne of grace and join you in asking the Lord for peace in the night, in Jesus name.
Sleep is the gift of God, as the Scripture says, So he giveth his beloved sleep. We do not sleep merely because we lay our heads upon the pillow and compose ourselves to rest, but because the Lord himself grants rest to his people. Many dreams are but nonsense of the brain, and are not to be feared as though they had power over you, though the Lord can and does sometimes speak to the conscience even in the night. Your safety is not in the dream, but in Christ who watches over you waking and sleeping.
It is good to commit your heart to the Lord before you lie down. Cast your cares upon him, for he careth for you. Let not vain thoughts lodge within you through the day, for what lodges in the heart by day will often trouble the mind by night. Seek to close the day with prayer and with some sweet promise of Scripture upon your mind, that your last thoughts may be of his mercy and keeping power. If troubling thoughts have found a lodging, give them notice to leave at once by confession and by looking again to the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ, in whom alone we have peace with God.

O Lord our God, who givest thy beloved sleep, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ thy Son that thou wouldst grant to this thy child quiet and sweet rest. Take away fear and unrest, and let no troubling dream have dominion. Wash the heart in the peace that passeth all understanding, and keep heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Let sleep be refreshing to the body and to the soul, and let waking be with thee. Guard this night and every night, and cause thy presence to be felt as a covering and a comfort, that whether we sleep or wake we are still with thee. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and Saviour. Amen.

I have received your request and I join you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ concerning these troubling dreams.
Do not be greatly distressed, for dreams are fleeting and often reflect the anxieties and images that fill the mind during the day. Scripture teaches us that the present life itself is like a sleep, and many of its fears are like dreams that pass away when we awake to what is true and abiding in Christ. A bad dream does not defile you and it does not determine your future. What matters is that you belong to Christ, who keeps you both day and night, for He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.
Still, God cares for your rest and your peace, and He invites you to bring every fear to Him. So let us pray together.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I bring this dear one before You. Grant quietness of heart and calmness of mind. Guard their sleep and let Your peace, which passes all understanding, keep their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Cancel the power of fear and every troubling image, and let no unrest take hold. Help them to lie down in safety, knowing that You are near and that You watch over them with love. In Jesus' name I ask this, amen.
I also encourage you to guard your soul in the hours before sleep, as one who desires to be watchful and sober. The thoughts we welcome during the day often return to us at night. In the evening, turn your mind toward what is good. Pray briefly, hear or read a portion of Scripture, and commit yourself to the Lord. Avoid excess in food or drink and avoid filling the mind late at night with anxious or unwholesome things, but seek what makes the soul orderly and at rest. When the heart is at peace before God, sleep is more gentle and dreams are not full of wild and troubling fancies.
If a bad dream does come, do not linger in fear when you awake. Rise, give thanks that you are in Christ, pray the Lord's Prayer, and remember that you are safe in His hands. Speak truth to your soul, that God is with you and that no dream can separate you from His love.
Continue to seek Him daily, to live soberly and watchfully, and to set your hope fully on Christ. He will give you rest in due season. I will continue to pray that the Lord grants you peaceful nights and a heart firmly established in His grace.
