Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your request and allowing us to pray with you. We have heard your desire for God to break every curse and chain and to lift any attack over your health, your weight and your finances, and we bring these needs before the Lord with you.
Scripture teaches that the curse of the Law is real, for it is written, Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things written in the book of the Law, to do them. Yet the good news is that Christ has redeemed us from that curse by becoming a curse for us, and through faith in Him we receive blessing and not condemnation. It is not by our own keeping of the Law but by trust in Jesus Christ alone that we are made free, forgiven and blessed. In Him every chain is broken and we have peace with God.
We pray now for you in that name. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your mercy through Jesus Christ. We ask that You break every bondage and deliver our brother or sister from every evil attack. Let the power of the cross be manifest in this life, and let no curse have dominion where Christ has already brought redemption. Grant healing and strength according to Your will, give wisdom for the care of the body, for daily habits, for food and rest and labor, that health may be restored and sustained for Your glory. Help with the burden concerning weight, granting self control, patience and sound judgment, not for vanity but for stewardship of the body You have given. And concerning finances, grant provision for daily needs, wisdom in stewardship, deliverance from fear and from the love of money, and a heart that finds true riches in contentment, generosity and trust in You. Teach us that a person is not rich because of abundance of possessions and not poor because of lack, but that true wealth is to need nothing apart from You and to use what You provide with thankfulness and care.
We ask You to guard this life from discouragement and to keep it in faith, watching and praying, preserving what You have given and restoring what has been weakened. Lead in paths of obedience, health and honest work, and let all that is done bring honor to Christ. We pray this in the name of Jesus our Lord, who alone is our salvation and hope. Amen.
