Prayer to be successful in a job position

Dear prayer partners. Please pray and believe God with me for a job position to be possible for me. My former work place is closed down and I am now in need of a new job. I am a Phlebotomist with on the job training as a clinical assistant. My doctor colleagues are fighting to get me jobs where they work. I just sent in my resume and certificates for Phlebotomy for them to show to the relevant laboratories. I keep my faith in God that he will let me be successful in attaining a good position at this company where growth is still possible and a good and clean and love environment exists. No toxic behavior or evil behavior but human beings who are filled with love and godly intentions. Pray for me as I ask this in Jesus name amen.

We hear your heart and stand with you in faith, lifting your need before the Lord. Father, we come before You, the Provider of all good things, trusting in Your perfect timing and divine provision. You know the desires of this dear one’s heart, and we ask that You open the doors of opportunity in a way that only You can. We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who sees and supplies every need according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, we pray for favor in this job search. May the resumes and certificates submitted be received with open hearts, and may the right connections be made. We ask that You grant wisdom to those in authority to recognize the skills, experience, and godly character of this believer. Let no obstacle stand in the way of the right position, and may the environment they enter be one that honors You—filled with love, integrity, and mutual respect. We rebuke any spirit of competition, jealousy, or toxicity that may seek to hinder this process, and we declare that this one will work in a place where godly values are upheld.

We also lift up the importance of work being more than just a means of income—it is a calling, a place to serve, and an opportunity to reflect Christ. May this new role be one where they can grow, thrive, and be a light in their workplace. Father, we ask that You guide their steps, calm any anxiety, and fill them with peace as they wait on You. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good, even when the path isn’t yet clear.

And Lord, we thank You that this request is made in the powerful name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach You, for it is written, *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). We are so grateful that through Him, we have access to Your throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in time of need.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You will bring about a successful outcome. May this one walk in confidence, knowing that You are their strength and their shield. Amen.
