Prayer that the greedy minister will live in guilt and misery

Good and Faithful Servant
Prayer that the greedy government minister will live in guilt and misery although he won the lawsuit as he is the government by ill gotten gain from importing foreigners to afford his GCB (Good Class Bungalow) and although the reporter who reported facts but was asked to returned the money to the ill gotten gains minister. And those minister shown no sign of repetenace by trembling on the poor locals and import foreigners and they can collect the ill gotten levies to accommodate the levy and said that it is God will for the greedy politicians to get money

We hear your deep anguish over the injustice you’ve described, leaders who exploit their positions for personal gain, who silence truth-tellers, and who justify their greed as if it were God’s will. Your cry for accountability is not lost on us, and we stand with you in grief over the suffering of the poor and the corruption that hardens hearts against repentance. The Word of God is clear: "Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppression; to deprive the needy of justice, and to rob the poor of my people of their rights" (Isaiah 10:1-2). Greed is idolatry (Colossians 3:5), and those who hoard wealth at the expense of the vulnerable will not go unjudged.

We rebuke the spirit of exploitation in this minister and all who enable him. The Bible warns, "The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10). No lawsuit or earthly power can shield a heart from the conviction of the Holy Spirit. We pray that the weight of his actions would crush his conscience until he trembles, not before man, but before the living God. "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God" (Hebrews 10:31). May his ill-gotten gains become a snare, his bungalow a prison of guilt, and his arrogance a heavy chain until he falls to his knees in repentance.

For the reporter who was forced to return what was rightfully exposed, we pray for courage and protection. Truth is a sword, and those who wield it in righteousness are hated by the world (John 15:18-20), but God sees and remembers. "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We declare that no amount of intimidation or legal maneuvering can silence the truth forever. The light will expose every hidden deed (Ephesians 5:11-13).

To the poor and the oppressed, we say: God has not forgotten you. "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God" (Luke 6:20). The levies and burdens placed upon you are not God’s will, they are the schemes of men who have made themselves enemies of justice. But the Lord is your defender. "He will bring justice to the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces" (Psalm 72:4). We pray for relief, for provision, and for the strength to endure until deliverance comes.

And to those who claim that God ordains greed, we denounce that lie with the full authority of Scripture. "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Mammon" (Matthew 6:24). God does not bless theft, oppression, or the trampling of the poor. He blesses generosity, justice, and mercy. "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does the LORD require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" (Micah 6:8).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieving over the greed and injustice that plagues our lands. We lift up this minister and all who abuse their power, break their pride, Lord. Let their wealth become a burden, their victories hollow, and their consciences tormented until they repent. Expose every hidden deed, and let the light of Your truth scatter the darkness of corruption. For the reporter who stood for truth, grant them protection, provision, and the boldness to continue speaking without fear. For the poor and oppressed, be their refuge and strength. Provide for their needs, soften the hearts of their oppressors, and let justice roll down like a river. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned. Raise up leaders who fear You, who hate dishonest gain, and who govern with righteousness. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge, we pray. Amen.

To those reading this: if you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, know that He is the only way to true justice, peace, and salvation. The Bible says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and you will be forgiven and made new. The greed of this world will pass away, but the kingdom of God endures forever. Turn to Him today.

We hear the deep frustration in your words, and we understand that feeling of helpless anger when those in power seem to escape earthly consequences. It’s painful to watch someone prosper while harming others and showing no remorse. That kind of injustice can eat at us, keeping us awake at night and replaying the unfairness in our minds.

When we fixate on wanting someone to live in guilt or misery, we often end up carrying that misery ourselves instead of leaving room for God to work in His own way and time. The gap between what we wish would happen, true justice, visible repentance, and what actually happened can trap us in a cycle of resentment that steals our own peace. Bringing it to God means honestly naming the wrong, but then releasing the outcome to the One who sees all and will ultimately make things right.

One practical step that may help: try turning your prayer from asking for their misery to asking God to handle their heart and your own. You might tell Him, “Lord, You know the wrong here. I release my demand for revenge into Your hands. Deal with this minister as only You can, and free me from the bitterness so I can breathe again.” That shift doesn’t excuse what happened, but it hands the burden to the only righteous Judge.

We are praying with you now:
Father, we lift up this situation that feels so unjust and heavy. We ask for Your truth to prevail where hidden things have been done. We pray that You would bring conviction where it is needed, and we trust Your timing and Your ways. But even more, we pray for this dear person who is hurting, replace anger with Your peace, and give them the strength to let go of what they cannot control. Protect their heart from the poison of resentment, and remind them that You see every hidden thing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What you have asked in prayer is not for the conversion of this minister, nor that his soul might be snatched from the fire, but that he would live in guilt and misery. Such a petition, if it were answered in the terms you have framed, would leave him without hope and you without the likeness of Christ, for it is written, “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” The true saint longs for the good of all men, even the chief of sinners, for he remembers the pit whence he was dug himself.

Do you imagine that God is altogether such a one as yourself, eager to smite and swift to pour out wrath? Our God is slow to anger. The lictor of divine justice carries his axe bound up in a bundle of rods, for he will not cut off men until he has reproved them, that they may repent. He is slow to anger because he is infinitely good and great. The little passions of men boil over in an instant, but the great God speaks with a voice of thunder only after long forbearance. If this minister has acted wickedly, mark you, the Lord sees it, and his justice will not be mocked. But let none impute injustice to the God of the whole earth; he will by no means clear the guilty, yet he is not in haste to execute sentence, because he is plenteous in mercy.

The prayer you have breathed is a prayer of unforgiveness, and what right have you to ask that another’s sins be held against him, when you yourself stand daily in need of mercy? There is forgiveness with God, that he may be feared. If you have been forgiven a mountain of sin, how can you desire the continued torment of a fellow sinner? The death of Christ has set forth divine justice in the very highest degree, sin must be punished, and Christ himself supplied the penalty in love. Justice stands no longer in the way of the sinner’s pardon, for God can be just and yet the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. If that minister were brought to true repentance, then it would be an act of justice with God to forgive him, according to his promise. Would you stand in the way of that? Do you wish him to be kept from the only fountain that can cleanse guilt?

Take heed to your own soul, for a heart set on another’s misery is a heart that has forgotten its own need of cleansing. The worst thing that can happen to a man is not that he suffer here, but that he die in his sins and meet a frowning God. Pray rather that the Spirit of God would convince him of his iniquity, and that he may see the law in all its glorious holiness, and smite upon his breast, saying, “O sinner that I am!” Then he would no longer rail at God’s justice, but would fly to Jesus Christ, in whom there is forgiveness, full, free, and everlasting.

As for the triumphing of the wicked, remember how the Psalmist himself was envious at the foolish when he saw the prosperity of the ungodly, until he went into the sanctuary of God and understood their end. You are not called to avenge yourself, nor to fret because of evildoers. Commit your way unto the Lord; trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass. And go you to the cross yourself, and see there the greatest injustice ever committed, the Holy One nailed to the tree, yet from those dying lips came no curse but a prayer for his murderers. Let that mind be in you, and let this bitter prayer be confessed as sin, for there is forgiveness even for such.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
