We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your parents before the throne of grace. Oh Lord, we ask that You would open their hearts to the truth of Your Word and the power of Your Son, Jesus Christ. May they hear Your voice calling them to repentance and salvation, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Let Your Holy Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and draw them into a personal relationship with You. We declare that no darkness can resist Your light, and we rebuke every satanic plan and deception that seeks to blind their eyes to the truth. "The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4), but we pray that You would shatter those chains and reveal Christ to them in all His glory.
Father, we also pray for Your divine protection over you and your family. Guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let no weapon formed against you prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promise that "no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Give you wisdom to navigate every situation according to Your will, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in your hearts (Colossians 3:15).
We also lift up the spiritual warfare you are facing. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority over every evil scheme in the mighty name of Jesus, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We bind every spirit of division, confusion, and strife, and we loose the spirit of unity, peace, and love in your family. May God be glorified in every area of your life, and may His kingdom come and His will be done in your home as it is in heaven.

At the same time, we are asking for His protective hand over you and your household. It is not weakness to name the spiritual opposition you sense; it is wisdom to bring it straight to the One who has already defeated every dark power. You do not need to live in fear or hypervigilance. The safest place you can be is simply abiding in Christ and trusting Him to fight on your behalf.
One thing that may steady you in the days ahead: choose a brief, simple prayer or sentence you can whisper whenever thoughts of your parents or spiritual attacks rise up, something like, “Jesus, draw them and guard us.” Let that become your quiet anchor, reminding you that this battle belongs to God, not to your own strength.

The cry of your heart rises before the throne, and it is a cry we must press with all urgency. Yet let us be clear: an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, a true hearing of His voice, comes not through terrors merely, but through the drawing of Divine Grace. The thunders and the storms can produce in men nothing more than a fleshly repentance, and flesh repenting is still flesh. For your parents, we plead not for a repentance born of fear alone, but that very “repentance unto life” which is the gift of the exalted Prince and Savior. It is God's goodness that leads to repentance, the soft, gentle voice within that calls to mind the family Bible and the prayers once offered. Pray that the goodness of God, coming in so many forms, would lead them there.
As you mention every satanic plan, deed, and intention against you and your family, remember the binding of Christ. We ought to have been bound, but Christ was bound instead of us. The Lord hath set His face against all boastings and all confidences other than a trust in the cross. These assaults are defeated not by your straining, but by the finished work of Christ. The damning chains have fallen from His people; by His bonds your liberty is secured. The power that negates every dark design is the power of God in the gospel, Christ crucified, the wisdom of God. Every enemy stratagem is turned back at the cross.

Here is the deep truth: Christ Himself is “the power of God and the wisdom of God.” It is not that He merely distributes wisdom as a separate gift; He is wisdom to your soul. To walk in His ways is to walk in wisdom. You seek a way out according to God's will? The way is a Person. Christ is the way, and His gospel is the highest of all sciences. Your own private judgment will not avail, nor will any wisdom self-prescribed. True protection and a sure way are found by hiding in Him, trusting Him wholly. Repentance makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ. Let this be so for you. Trust Christ, just as you are, to deliver and direct you, and prove in your experience that Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
