We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting up your parents to the Lord with hearts full of hope and faith. It is the desire of our Heavenly Father that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened, that they may know the hope to which God has called them, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe (Ephesians 1:18-19). May they hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, who lays down His life for His sheep (John 10:11), and may they respond in faith, turning away from all that does not align with His will.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking that You would break every chain and shatter every satanic plan set against this family. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of deception, confusion, and division in Jesus’ name, and we command it to flee. Let Your light shine in the darkness, exposing every hidden scheme of the enemy, and let Your truth set this family free (John 8:32).
Lord, we ask that You grant wisdom, discernment, and protection over this dear one and their entire family. Your Word promises that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). Guide their steps, O Lord, and make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Shield them from harm and surround them with Your angels, who encamp around those who fear You (Psalm 34:7). Provide a way out of every trial and temptation, as You are faithful and will not let them be tempted beyond what they can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13).
We also lift up the salvation of these parents, knowing that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Father, soften their hearts to receive the gospel message, that they may confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9). Let them experience the transforming power of Your love and grace, and may they become disciples of Christ, walking in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7).
We pray that this family would be rooted and established in love, able to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19). May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to Him be glory both now and forevermore (2 Peter 3:18).
In all these things, Lord, may Your name be glorified. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this family, as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). We trust in You, our Rock and our Redeemer, and we declare that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). To You be the glory, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
