We lift up your parents before the throne of grace, praying earnestly that their hearts would be softened and opened to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:17, "So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." May they hear His voice clearly, not as a distant echo, but as a living word that pierces their souls and brings conviction, repentance, and salvation. We declare that every veil of deception blinding them to the truth of the Gospel will be torn away in Jesus' name. "The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them" (2 Corinthians 4:4). But we stand against that blindness, praying that the light of Christ would shine brightly in their hearts.
We also take authority over every satanic plan, deed, and intention aimed at you and your family. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of darkness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him, you will find safety and deliverance.
Father, we ask that You grant wisdom, protection, and a way out of every trial and temptation. "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Guide their steps, Lord, and let Your will be done in their lives.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and the only name by which we can be saved. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). May Your Holy Spirit move mightily in their lives, drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. May they come to know Him not just as a historical figure, but as their personal Lord and Savior, who died for their sins and rose again so that they might have eternal life.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne on behalf of this brother or sister in Christ. We trust in Your promises and Your faithfulness. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in their lives and the lives of their parents. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
