Prayer: Showing More Affection

Dear Lord,

Thank You for Your loving affections toward us. You comfort us and You lead us through this life. We are grateful for the way Your Holy Spirit ministers to us every day. Please help us to yield our hearts to You and walk according to the wisdom You give us. We lift up our marriage to You and ask that You would help us grow even deeper in our relationship. We pray we would be intentional to show more affection toward each other. We pray we would find ways to show our love, especially in ways that fulfill needs in each other’s hearts. We pray we would have more time to spend together. Please help us to use our time to be affectionate and not walk in selfish ways. We pray You are honored by the way we interact in our marriage. We pray You would be glorified through our marriage in Jesus’ name AMEN!
