Prayer: Selfishness

Dear Lord,

Thank You for Your Word! We pray we would prioritize reading Your Word everyday. Thank You for teaching us to not be selfish people. Thank You for teaching us to put the interests of others above our own. We pray a blessing over our marriage. Please help us to not be selfish in our marriage. Please show us all of the big and small ways we can put one another’s needs above our own. We pray Your will is done in Jesus’ name AMEN!

If we wish to be happy starting now and into the future, then, do not be selfish. Share with others what Jesus has blessed you with. Love others and see their pain. Let us all think of others in everything we do. Jesus will bless us and guide our steps towards heaven.

Sharing Jesus with others is not selfishness. Inviting them to church is not looking after our own. Jesus never showed a selfish act. He loved everyone and wanted all to come to Him and follow all the way to heaven. We your temple o Lord. Give You reverence. So arise to your hear our pleas of mercy and compassion. Take away all selfishness from our hearts. Help us to be just like You are. Full of love, compassion and care for others. In Jesus name. Amen
