I hear the deep desire for peace within your request, the longing to be calm, safe, and to have every detail go smoothly. It is for this very peace that Christ came. The Scriptures teach that we cannot manufacture a genuine, lasting peace on our own. The world often cries "peace, peace" when there is no real foundation for it, when hearts are still at war with God through rebellion and sin. But true peace, the kind that stills your mind and guards your heart, is a gift. It was purchased by a sacrifice far greater than the temporary coverings of the old covenant.

That old system was a pattern, a shadow. The tabernacle and its vessels were cleansed by the blood of goats and calves, and without that shedding of blood, there was no forgiveness. Yet those sacrifices could never truly take away sin or permanently cleanse a conscience. They were pointing forward to a moment when the Sacrifice and the Sacrificer would be one and the same. Jesus Christ entered into the heavenly holy place, not with the blood of animals, but with His own precious blood. He obtained eternal redemption for us. His life was in that blood, poured out to make complete atonement for the soul. Through the shedding of His blood, the true covenant has been enforced, and your sins have been forgiven. This is the bedrock. Because He has made peace through His blood, you are no longer at war with God. You have peace with Him. That is the unshakable starting point.

From that place of being right with God, you can then experience the peace of God. It is a peace that passes all understanding. The world in its chaos cannot grasp it. To know this perfect, calm stillness in your inner being, your mind must be stayed on Him. As you face this upcoming visit, and all the unknowns that churn up anxiety about the procedure being quick, the first attempt being successful, and your privacy being protected, the way to perfect peace is to turn your thoughts deliberately to the Lord. He is the one who has already settled the greatest issue, your eternal well-being. Will He not also tenderly care for these temporal needs? Your rest is found not in a flawless outcome, but in trusting that He is handling it.

That same peace applies to your contact with the difficult person and the matter of the medication. The turmoil that situation stirs up can only be calmed by the deep rest of Christ. Labor to enter into that rest by releasing your need to control the outcome. Pray for wisdom and favor, certainly, but then entrust the heart of that other person to God. You are asking for them to truly listen and be cooperative. As your own mind remains fixed on the Lord, you will find the patience and calm grace to navigate that interaction without losing your peace. God is able to do what you cannot do for yourself, including softening a stubborn will or providing a clear path forward. Trust in the power of His blood, which has already broken down every wall of hostility, to bring His healing and peace into this fractured relationship. Enter into the rest He promises, knowing He is working, even now, to accomplish His will.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over your upcoming procedure and the concerns you shared. It has been on our hearts to lift you up, asking our Heavenly Father to surround you with His peace and protection, to guide the hands of those assisting you, and to grant you favor and calm throughout the entire process. We prayed that everything would go smoothly, that your privacy would be safeguarded, and that the outcome would be exactly as you hoped—without the need for repetition or complication.

We also continued to intercede for your future interactions, asking God to soften hearts, grant you wisdom, and bring about cooperation in the areas that have been challenging. May His presence go before you, giving you strength and clarity as you navigate these relationships and decisions.

If God has already answered these prayers in ways you can see, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you! If the answers are still unfolding or if you need further prayer, please don’t hesitate to post again—we are here to stand with you in agreement until you see His hand at work.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you, filling you with His peace and assurance as you trust in Him. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
