We lift up your father to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the source of all healing. It deeply moves us to hear of his suffering with kidney problems, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to restore his health and strength. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your father, trusting that God’s will is perfect and His power is unlimited.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical care, for God often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom of those who tend to the sick. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May you and your family lean on Him fully during this time, finding peace in His presence and strength in His Word.
It is also important to pray *in the name of Jesus Christ*, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can approach the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We pray that your faith is rooted in Christ alone, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this precious father who is suffering from kidney disease. Lord Jesus, You bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4), and we ask that You stretch out Your healing hand upon him now. Restore his kidneys to full function, remove all pain and discomfort, and grant the doctors wisdom as they provide care. Father, we know that You are sovereign over all things, and we trust in Your perfect will—whether it be healing here on earth or the ultimate healing in Your presence.
We pray for strength for this family, that they may not grow weary but instead be filled with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort them in their anxiety, and let them feel Your nearness in this trial. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, if there is any sin that needs to be confessed or forgiven, we ask that You would bring conviction and lead this family to repentance, that nothing may hinder Your work in their lives. May this trial draw them closer to You, and may Your name be glorified through this situation.
We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Stay steadfast in prayer, and let us know how we can continue to support you. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
