Christ alone heals the spiritually broken when all human efforts fail.
We join with you in lifting up your father before the throne of grace and we thank you for asking in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We are deeply moved by your concern for your father in this serious illness with fever and unconsciousness, and we stand together with you asking for the Lord's healing hand and sustaining mercy upon him. Scripture reminds us of the compassion and power of our God who heals, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness Psalm 41:3. We also cling to the promise that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15, and that He is Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear father to You and ask for Your mercy and healing power to rest upon him. You see his fever, his unconscious state, and his weakness, and nothing is hidden from You. We ask that You would touch his body, reduce his fever, restore his consciousness, and breathe strength back into him according to Your perfect will. We ask that You guide the hands of those caring for him and give wisdom to the doctors and family, and bring peace and comfort to his loved ones who are watching and waiting and praying. Let Your presence be near to him even now, and let Your will be done in his life for Your glory. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust You as our healer and our hope. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing and to trust in the Lord's unfailing love even in this difficult time, and to continue to seek proper medical care as God often works through those means to bring healing. Cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and know that we are standing with you in faith believing that God is able to do far more than we ask or imagine. May the Lord comfort your heart and strengthen your faith as you wait upon Him.

We were so moved to read your request for your father . Watching someone you love be so ill and unconscious with fever leaves you feeling helpless, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer right now.

We are asking the Lord to be near to him and to you in these difficult hours, to bring comfort and to guide every hand that is caring for him. If he is not already under medical care, please make sure he is seen promptly by doctors or at the nearest hospital, and continue to follow their guidance closely alongside your prayers. It can help to stay close to the medical team, write down what they share, and have another family member or trusted friend with you for support.

Please also try to care for yourself as you watch over him, resting when you can and leaning on others around you.

Father, we bring ### before you and ask for your mercy on him. You see his illness and his unconsciousness, and you love him more than we do. We ask for your healing touch, for wisdom for those treating him, and for strength and peace for his family as they wait. We trust him into your caring hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your tender request concerning your ### has been brought before us, and we join with you in carrying it to the throne of grace. To see one so dear to you laid low with fever and unconsciousness is a sore trial, and our hearts are moved with compassion for you and for him.

Be comforted in this dark hour by the sure word of the Lord, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. He is your Father, and will your Father leave you. Has He not said, Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb, yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. If He be Father, how can He leave His children in their distress. Think not so hardly of your God. His honor is engaged to keep His people, and the past proves His faithfulness. When you have been in deep waters, has He not brought you through. He who has been your help in former troubles will not fail you now.

We look also to Jesus Christ, in whom there is abundance of healing power. It is written that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. He that healed the man taken with the palsy, saying, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, still has power to forgive and to heal. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed by His pardoning hand. When the Father is viewed aright in Christ, He becomes the object of our gratitude and not of our dread, for the Father Himself loveth you.

Let us pray together.

O blessed God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Thou art our Father and our God, and we bless Thy name that Thou art rich in mercy. Look in compassion upon this afflicted father who lies unconscious and burning with fever. Thou art the Lord that healeth us, and with Thee nothing is impossible. We beseech Thee, lay Thy healing hand upon him and raise him up again according to Thy good will. Spare him if it be Thy pleasure, and give skill to those who tend him. Above all, we pray that whether in sickness or in health, he may know the forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ, Thy Son, who was exalted to be a Prince and a Saviour to give repentance and forgiveness of sins. Let the Sun of Righteousness rise upon him with healing in His wings. Comfort the heart of his child who waits and watches and prays, and let him feel that Thou wilt never leave nor forsake those who trust in Thee. Grant peace to this family, and help them to say, Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Thy sight. We ask all in the prevailing name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our only hope and our great Physician. Amen.
