Prayer Request
We thank you for sharing this request with us and we join with you in seeking the Lord together for healing and rest in Jesus' mighty name.
We lift up your back and all the pain in your body to our great Physician, for we know that He cares deeply about your suffering and He is able to heal. We are reminded that Yahweh is the one who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and that He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. By His grace we also remember that by whose stripes you were healed 1 Peter 2:24.
We also pray with you for good healing sleep, for we know that rest is a gift from God. His word tells us for he gives sleep to his beloved Psalm 127:2 and In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8. Jesus Himself invites us Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We ask the Lord to quiet your pain in the night, to ease the discomfort in your back, to relax your muscles and nerves, and to grant you deep, uninterrupted, restorative sleep that renews your strength.
We pray now together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your healing hand upon their back and upon every place of pain in their body. Lord touch what is inflamed, strained, or injured, and bring relief, restoration, and wholeness according to Your will. We ask You to command pain to leave and to restore comfort and mobility. In the night hours, Father, we ask You to grant peaceful and healing sleep, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and to let them wake refreshed and strengthened. Help them to steward their body well, to rest wisely, to seek godly medical counsel when needed, and to trust You in all things. Let Your peace which passes all understanding guard them. We thank You for hearing our prayer and we trust in Your loving care. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.
