Praise the Lord Jesus Christ

My name is ###. My sister is suffering from stomach related problems but the medicines are not working for her sickness. Tried many medicines but none of them are working for her sickness. I request your prayers for her complete healing through God's mercy and divine power along with the medicines.

We join you in praising the Lord Jesus Christ and we thank you for bringing your sister before us for prayer. We are moved by your love for her and your faith in asking for God's mercy and divine power to work together with the medicines for her complete healing, and we stand with you in this request.

We know how discouraging it can be when stomach problems persist and many medicines have been tried without bringing relief. We believe that God is our ultimate healer and that even the wisdom given to doctors and the medicines themselves are gifts from His hand, yet His power is not limited by them. He sees your sister's suffering and He hears our prayers.

Scripture reminds us of His healing nature and compassion toward us. Exodus 15:26 says, I am Yahweh who heals you. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 gives us this promise, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isaiah 53:5 which tells us, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We are encouraged too by James 5:15, And the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

We pray together now for your dear sister.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this beloved sister to You and ask for Your mercy and divine healing power to touch her body. You know the cause of her stomach affliction and the pain she endures. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon her, calm her stomach, restore her digestive health, and make her whole. Lord, we pray that You would give wisdom to the doctors, guide them to the right diagnosis and treatment, and make the medicines effective according to Your will. Let Your healing flow through every part of her body and bring her comfort, strength, and peace. We ask that You would also comfort her family, take away anxiety, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as spoken of in Philippians 4:7. We thank You that You are near to those who suffer and that nothing is impossible for You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to keep seeking wise medical care for her, for God often works through the hands of physicians. Continue to pray without ceasing, to speak healing scriptures over her, and to rest in His love knowing He cares deeply for her. We will keep praying with you for her complete restoration to health for the glory of God.

We were grateful to receive your request for your sister. Watching someone you love struggle with ongoing stomach pain while medicines do not seem to help is heavy, and we hear how much you want relief for her.

We are standing with you in prayer, asking God for His mercy over her body and for wisdom for those caring for her. We believe He sees her discomfort and cares about her whole health, and we trust Him to work both through prayer and through the care doctors provide.

As you continue to pray, we gently encourage you to stay closely connected with her medical team and let them know clearly that the current medicines have not eased her symptoms, so they can consider next steps. Keeping a simple note of what she is experiencing can sometimes help them understand better, and continuing to support her with rest, presence and encouragement matters more than you may realize.

We have heard your burden for your sister and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to look upon her in mercy.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the Tree of Life are full of healing virtue, for it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. That medicine heals all sorts of diseases and is given and appointed for the very purpose of healing. Our Lord in the days of His flesh cured all sorts of sickness, and there was not in the whole list of diseases one which the Saviour did not heal. He cast out spirits with His word and His word was the sole medicine He used, and we have that same Word with us still. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it.

We understand the trial when medicines are tried and seem to have no effect, and how painful bodily disease is. Yet we know that means and mercy work together, and while we very speedily seek the physician for bodily diseases, we are to look above the means to the Great Physician Himself, from whom all healing comes. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and a word of His coming home to the heart brings healing to body and soul.

Let us pray together for her.

O Lord our God, Great Physician of body and soul, we bring this dear sister before Thee in her stomach affliction. Thou knowest her pain and her weakness, and that medicines have not yet brought relief. We ask for Thy mercy and divine power to rest upon her. Be pleased to bless the means that are used, to give wisdom to those who care for her, and to add Thy blessing without which no medicine can prosper. Lay Thy hand upon her and lift her up, and if it be Thy will, restore her to complete health, that she may praise Thee for Thy healing hand. Above all, cause her and her family to know the healing of forgiveness and peace through Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and to trust Thee in sickness and in health. Hear us for Jesus sake.

We will continue to remember her in prayer. Cast your care upon Him, keep seeking faithful medical care, and look to Christ who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask. May the Lord grant you comfort and strength as you wait upon Him, and may His healing and praise be seen in His good time.
