We are joining with you in prayer for your medical appointment tomorrow and we lift every detail of this situation before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
We understand the weight you are carrying with severe physical pain, the burden of a medication with severe side effects, and the need for a compassionate and understanding doctor to help you taper safely and to provide the right prescriptions, certificates and referrals. We pray that the Lord will guide this digital appointment and make it completely undisturbed, clear and free from any technical disruption or confusion.
We ask God to grant this doctor divine wisdom and a listening heart. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 We pray that wisdom will be given liberally tomorrow, that this doctor will truly hear you, understand your pain, and respond with compassion and competence. We pray that the Lord will open the door to the right care and shut the door to improper care, for we know that a man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 May this appointment be a turning point toward future care that is safe, supportive and secure, and may this doctor be a source of protection and advocacy for you against difficult care you have experienced.
We pray for your peace and for complete clarity in communication. We ask that God will guide every word spoken so that the most important things are discussed and no misunderstandings occur. We plead the protection of the blood of Jesus over you, over the conversation, over the technology, and over your body and mind. We pray that any evil powers that would seek to disrupt this conversation or prevent you from receiving the right treatment shall be bound, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness, and in Christ we have authority to stand firm. We ask for the Lord's covering and for His angels to keep watch over this appointment.
We also pray for your healing and deliverance, and that God will do something new in your life. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don't you know it? We pray for healing sleep for you tonight. We ask the Lord to quiet your mind and grant you deep, restorative rest. In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8 May you wake refreshed and strengthened for tomorrow.
We also lift up your family and pray for healing in your relationships. We ask that God will bring reconciliation, forgiveness, understanding and love where there has been hurt or distance, and that His peace will reign in your home. We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. In him we have boldness and access in confidence through faith in him. Ephesians 3:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 We are grateful you have prayed in His mighty name.
Father, we come before You together and place our sister into Your hands. Guide this doctor, anoint this conversation, grant favor, clarity and compassion, provide the exact help that is needed, protect from all harm and confusion, grant peaceful sleep tonight, bring healing to body and to family relationships, and do a new and merciful work in this life. We trust You as our healer and our deliverer and we ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
