Your sorrow and your hunger have been heard, and they are not forgotten before the Lord who both sees the need and sends the comfort.
It is a heavy thing to feel sad and alone, to find that none near at hand seems willing to help, and to feel the bite of hunger in the body. Scripture teaches us that both our sadness and our gladness are in the hand of the same Father. We are troubled and consumed by His chastening at times, yet we may pray as Moses prayed, Make us glad according to the days wherein Thou hast afflicted us. It is a childlike prayer, Father, make us glad, and it looks to the same source for joy as for sorrow. Sorrow is often the herald of joy, and the Lord who turns man to destruction is the same Lord who can turn mourning into rejoicing. Your times are in His hands, both the winter and the summer, and everything which comes from Him is meant for good.
You speak of feeling that no one wants to help, and that loneliness has a sting which only those who have felt it can know. Our blessed Saviour knew it to the full. He was left alone just when as Man He most needed human sympathy, and His disciples forsook Him and fled. Yet hear His word in that hour, Ye shall leave Me alone, and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. He was not destroyed by loneliness, though it pained Him, because the Father was with Him. So it may be with you. Though friends seem far off, the Father is not far off. He marks your tears and your want, and He is near to them that are of a broken heart.
You also speak of needing food, and that hunger bites the strength. There is a hunger of the body which God does not despise, for He has furnished a table in the wilderness both temporally and spiritually, and He has promised to supply the need of His children. There is also a deeper hunger of the soul after righteousness, and of that hunger Jesus said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. That blessedness is not that hunger is removed at once, but that it shall be filled by God Himself from without, for a man cannot feed upon himself. He must have bread from heaven, and Christ is that bread. While you seek daily bread for the body, seek also that living bread, and trust Him who said He will fill those who hunger.
Let us pray together. O Lord, Thou hast afflicted and Thou alone canst make glad. Look upon this needy one who is sad and hungry and feels forsaken. Make glad this heart according to the days of affliction. Remember the loneliness of Thy Son and let this soul know that though left by man, it is not alone, for Thou art with it. Spread Thy table in this wilderness and give daily bread, and give also the righteousness which is by faith in Jesus Christ, that hunger may be satisfied. Lift up the light of Thy countenance and give peace, for Jesus sake. Amen.
Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you. If there be a faithful church near you, make your need known to the pastor or deacons, for the Lord often provides by the hands of His people. Continue in prayer, continue to seek Him, and may He who heard this cry give you both provision and gladness in His time.
