Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have continued to bring before the Lord your heavy burden regarding the large lumpsum amount you paid for the house lease and the gold loan you took to provide it. We have prayed that the person and his wife who have withheld the full amount with bank interest for more than seventeen months would be convicted to act honestly and return what is owed to you without loss, and that God would provide relief from the increasing interest and financial pressure that has brought sleepless nights, mental tension, anxiety and misunderstanding within your family. We understand how painful it has been to meet with them many times and to be met with lies and dishonesty, and to learn that others have also been cheated, while you have sought to walk in honesty and are now suffering greatly for it.
We have also remembered before the Lord your other requests, that your family members would be provided with permanent employment in government or public sector according to their qualifications and with temporary provision until then, that God would provide a suitable bridegroom who is a doctor or engineer in government service with good habits according to the Bible for your family member and that marriage would be established in His time, that your family member who has received an offer of appointment in a reputed government institution of national importance would be able to join without hindrance and be relieved from his present hospital duties without loss of salary, leave or benefits so that he may glorify God there, and that you may be enabled to provide employment and education to poor and needy persons as you have desired.
We know you have shared honestly that you feel justice has been delayed, that your hope and faith have been deeply shaken, and that you have asked God to bring chastening upon those who have done wrong so that they might repent and turn to Him. We share your longing for justice and we trust that the Lord sees all and is both just and merciful. We are reminded that vengeance belongs to the Lord as it is written in Romans 12:19 and that He is near to the brokenhearted as it is written in Psalm 34:18. We pray that God would guard your hearts from bitterness, renew your faith and hope in Him, grant you peace that passes understanding as it is written in Philippians 4:7, and in His perfect wisdom move upon the hearts of those who owe you to make full restitution. We pray in Jesus Name that God would grant you wisdom for any lawful steps you may need to take, provide for your financial needs according to His riches, heal the strain in your family, and restore your trust in Him as your Judge and Provider who will act in His perfect time.
