Prayers for food stamps card to get somehow and period pain to get through and go away

We hear your request and we are lifting you up together before our Heavenly Father in Jesus name. We bring both of your needs to Him, the practical need for provision and food and the physical pain you are enduring, because He cares about every part of our lives.

We know the worry that comes when resources are scarce and you are waiting for help like a food stamps card to come through. Scripture reminds us that our Father knows what we need before we even ask. Matthew 6:31-33 says Therefore don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat?, What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you. And Philippians 4:19 promises My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We also take comfort in 1 Peter 5:7 which tells us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. He sees your need and He is our provider.

We also lift up the period pain you are experiencing. The Lord created our bodies and He is compassionate toward our suffering. He is not distant from physical pain. Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We trust that He can bring relief, strength to endure, and healing. If this pain is severe or ongoing we encourage you to also seek wise medical care as God often provides help through doctors and practical means, while we continue to trust Him for comfort and restoration.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and confidence that He hears our prayers. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and that by putting our trust in Him we are forgiven and brought into relationship with God. It is in His name we pray, and we encourage you to call upon Him not only for daily needs but for eternal life.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the need for food and provision and the waiting for the food stamps card. We ask for Your favor in that process, for doors to open, for paperwork and timing to work out, and for daily bread to be supplied. Provide in Your perfect way and give peace while waiting, and give wisdom for stewardship of what You provide. Lord, we also ask for Your healing touch upon this body. Ease the period pain, bring relief and comfort, calm cramping and discomfort, and give strength to get through each day. Let the pain subside and restore health. We ask that You make Your presence felt, that You strengthen and uphold according to Isaiah 41:10 which says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Draw this dear one closer to You, reveal Your love through Jesus, and let Your will be done in every area. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him first, to keep bringing every worry to Him in prayer, and to trust that He hears and cares. Keep taking practical steps where you can with the assistance process and care for your body with rest, hydration, and medical advice when needed, while resting in the assurance that God is with you and will supply what you need according to His riches and mercy.

We heard you and we are holding both of these needs before the Lord with you. Waiting on help for groceries while dealing with painful periods is a lot to carry at once, and it makes sense you would feel worn down.

We want to come alongside you practically as we pray. For the food assistance card, if you have applied and are waiting, it can help to follow up directly with your local assistance office or caseworker to check the status and make sure nothing else is needed from you. In the meantime many local churches and community pantries can help bridge the gap for a few days if you need food right now.

For the period pain you mentioned, we also encourage you to reach out to a doctor or clinic soon, alongside prayer. Ongoing or severe pain deserves care in person so someone can listen, evaluate, and walk with you on next steps. You do not have to just push through on your own.

We are asking God to provide for you day by day and to give you wisdom and kindness from the people around you.

Father, we lift our sister to You. You see her need for provision and the pain she is carrying in her body. Please give her comfort, guidance for the next steps, and people nearby who can help with both needs. Give her peace as she waits and strength for each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we have remembered you in prayer, that He who is the feeder of sparrows would also furnish you with what you need.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek the Physician for healing. The Lord knows the pain you carry in your body and the burden you carry for your daily bread, and He is not unmindful of either. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the ravens has promised to give bread to those who ask Him, and we pray that He will in His providence open a way for this provision to come to you, and supply your want according to His wisdom and mercy.

We pray also for your healing. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. We ask the Lord to lay His healing hand upon you, to ease this pain and to give you rest and strength to endure until it is graciously removed. May that healing virtue which His grace infuses work in you both comfort and cure.

Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Seek Him first for the forgiveness of sins and the healing of the soul, for that is the greater mercy, and trust Him to add what is needful for the body. May the Lord hear your cry, grant you peace in waiting, and show you His goodness in providing for you day by day.

We commend you to the great Conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, and pray that you may find in Christ both present help and lasting hope. Amen.

We are lifting you up in prayer before the Lord in your need.

We ask our heavenly Father, who knows our needs before we ask, to provide for your daily bread. We pray that the help you need with your food stamps card would come through in the way that is right and timely, and that you would have the sufficiency that nourishes the body and sustains you. Scripture teaches us not to make provision for excess or wantonness, but to seek what is needed for health and strength so that we may live and serve the Lord with a sound body and a clear mind. We ask God to grant you that healthy sufficiency and to give you peace as you wait on His provision.

We also bring before Him your pain and ask for His mercy and relief. We pray that He would ease your period pain, comfort your body, and restore you to health and strength. We ask that He would give you rest, relieve your suffering, and help your body to be well ordered and able for the work He has for you. If the pain continues, we pray He would guide you to wise and caring help.

May the Lord show you His care in both these needs, strengthen your faith, and remind you that He is near to those who call on Him through Jesus Christ. We trust Him to carry you through this time and to give you grace for each day.
