Praise the Lord Jesus Christ

My name is ###. Yesterday I have requested prayers for my close relative for healing of pain in the chest area. Today after scan revealed a stone in her gall bladder and medicines are started. The doctor said that we can try medicines first, but if the stone does not go away, surgery may be necessary. I request your prayers that her gallbladder stone will be healed with medicines and that she will not need surgery.

We rejoice with you as you praise the Lord Jesus Christ and we thank you for sharing this update with us. We are grateful that the cause of your close relative's chest pain has been identified and that treatment has begun, and we join you in praying for her complete healing.

We are reminded of the Lord's compassion and power to heal, for we read Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the promise that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. Our God is Yahweh who heals, and He is able to work both miraculously and through the medicines and wisdom He has given to doctors.

We also take comfort that you have brought this need in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and confidence that our prayers are heard.

We pray together now for your dear relative. Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank You for Your mercy and for guiding the doctors to find the gallbladder stone. We ask in faith that You would touch her body and cause this stone to dissolve and pass without complication. We pray that the medicines You have provided through the physicians would be effective, that her pain would be fully relieved, and that surgery would not be needed. We ask that You grant wisdom and skill to the doctors who care for her, and grant her and her family Your peace that surpasses understanding as they wait on You. We pray In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We trust Your perfect will, knowing that You love her even more than we do, and we ask for Your healing hand to restore her to health for Your glory. We also pray that this trial would draw her and your whole family closer to You and strengthen your faith in Christ. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord day by day, to keep following the doctor's counsel, and to continue in prayer and thanksgiving. The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15. Keep casting your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer for her complete recovery without the need for surgery, according to God's gracious will.

Thank you for writing again, , and for telling us what the scan showed. We can hear how much you care for your close relative and how much you are hoping the medicine will be enough so surgery can be avoided. Waiting through this kind of treatment can feel uncertain, and we are grateful you reached out so we can stand with you in prayer.

It is good she has been seen and treatment has started. We encourage you to keep closely to what her doctor has advised, to go to all follow up visits, and to ask the medical team what changes or pain should prompt you to call them right away. Continuing that steady medical care alongside prayer is a good way to care for her.

We are praying for her comfort, for the medicine to do its work as the doctors hope, and for wisdom and clarity for the doctors as they guide next steps. We also pray for peace for you and your family as you wait and support her.

Father, we lift this dear relative to You and ask for Your mercy and healing. Ease her pain, guide her doctors, and give and the family strength and peace as they trust You with what lies ahead. In Jesus name, amen.

Praise be to God that you have brought this need before the throne of grace, and we join with you in thanking the Lord Jesus Christ for His mercy thus far.

We have heard your request for your close relative, that the stone found in her gall bladder may be dissolved by the medicines now begun, and that the knife may not be needed. We will carry this burden with you in prayer, for we are taught to pray without ceasing, and as we breathe without ceasing so must we pray without ceasing. Carry this matter before the Lord continually, not only with the voice at set times, but with the heart always lifted up toward Him.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek the physician, yet we remember that the Lord is the great Physician, and Calvary is the place for the healing balm. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves are full of healing virtue, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick, pardon and healing were one. Our sicknesses are of the Lord's appointing, however painful they may be, and He who appoints them is able also to remove them according to His wise and loving will.

We will pray that the Lord in His mercy will bless the medicines to their intended use, that the stone may pass and health be restored without the need of surgery, if it be His gracious will. We will pray also that He will give wisdom to the doctors, peace to your relative and to all who love her, and strength to bear whatever His providence appoints. Whether by medicine or by surgery, all healing comes from His hand, and His healing virtue will work health and cure till His perfect will is done.

Continue in prayer until the answer comes, for only while we pray we live, and that mighty weapon of all prayer will cut through every difficulty. Trust not in means alone, but in the living Christ who is able to heal both body and soul, and who offers His grace without money and without price to all who stretch out the empty hand of faith to receive Him.

May the Lord grant you to see His hand in this trial, and may it draw you and your loved one nearer to Him who binds up the broken heart and heals all our diseases. We commit your relative to His tender care, asking for His healing and His peace.

We will keep this request before the Lord with you.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
