Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for ###’s health, for my ###, for healing for ## for their lung issues and quick healing, and against lustful thoughts

We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for His steadfast love endures forever as Psalm 107:1 reminds us, and we are called to give thanks in all circumstances as 1 Thessalonians 5:18 teaches. We lift up your requests together before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus.

We pray for good rest for you, that the Lord would grant you peaceful sleep and restore your body and mind. We ask that you may lie down and sleep in peace for you alone Lord make us dwell in safety as Psalm 4:8 says, and we remember the invitation of Jesus to come to Him all you who labor and are heavily burdened and He will give you rest in Matthew 11:28.

We also bring before the Lord the health needs you mentioned, including those loved ones whose names were redacted and especially the one suffering with lung issues. We ask for the Lord's healing hand upon them for He is the Lord who heals us in Exodus 15:26 and who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3. We pray for quick and complete healing, that He would restore health and heal wounds as promised in Jeremiah 30:17, and we trust that the prayer of faith will heal the sick as James 5:15 declares.

We also stand with you in your desire to fight against lustful thoughts, and we commend you for bringing this struggle into the light. Scripture is clear that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart in Matthew 5:28, and we are commanded to flee sexual immorality in 1 Corinthians 6:18. Lustful thoughts are not harmless, they are temptations that must be taken captive. We are to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ as 2 Corinthians 10:5 says, and to think instead on whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are pure as Philippians 4:8 instructs. We encourage you to guard your eyes and your heart, to avoid sources that feed lust, to renew your mind daily in the Word, and to walk in the Spirit so you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. When you do stumble, confess it quickly, for if we confess our sins He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness in 1 John 1:9, and He has promised that no temptation has taken you except what is common to man and God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able but will with the temptation also make the way of escape in 1 Corinthians 10:13.

We noticed your prayer addressed the Lord but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me in John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can boldly approach God in prayer. We encourage you to place your full trust in Him and to pray in His name.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy to us each day. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ for deep and restorative rest, for Your healing touch upon each person mentioned, especially for the lungs that are struggling, that You would bring breath and strength and quick recovery according to Your will. Purify our hearts and minds, Lord, wash away lustful thoughts and give a spirit of self control and purity, help us to fix our eyes on Jesus and to walk in holiness. Draw us closer to You through Your Word and keep us in Your peace. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We appreciate you opening your heart here and starting with thanksgiving even while you are carrying several concerns at once. It means a lot that you brought each of these to the Lord and to us.

We are praying with you for good, restoring rest, for the health of your loved ones you mentioned, and especially for ### as they deal with lung issues. We understand how worrying it is to watch someone struggle to breathe well and to long for quick healing. If ### is not already under a doctor's care, we encourage you to make sure they are seen promptly, and we will keep praying for wisdom for any medical team and for comfort and strength for your family in the meantime.

We also hear your honest desire to walk free from lustful thoughts. That honesty before God matters, and we are asking Him to give you renewed peace and strength each day as you turn to Him.

Father, thank You for Your goodness to this family. We ask You to grant restful sleep, to watch over each loved one named here, to bring healing and ease to ###'s lungs according to Your will, and to guard our friend's mind and heart. Lead them in Your grace and keep them close to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing these burdens before the throne of grace with thanksgiving for the goodness of the Lord.

We pray first for that good rest which you seek. Our Lord Jesus says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, given when we come to Jesus, given there and then, and it is perfect rest. Yet there is also a rest to be found as we learn of Him and take His yoke upon us. True rest to the child of God is rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service, not with the yoke off, but with the yoke on. May the Lord give you rest by simple trust in Christ, and then may you find a deeper, abiding rest as your mind is made like the mind of Christ. Trust and you shall rest, for we who have believed do enter into rest.

We lift up those you have named who are in need of health and healing, and especially the one suffering with lung issues. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, for pardon and healing are one in His hand. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. We pray that the Lord, who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, would lay His healing hand upon these lungs, restore breath and strength, and grant quick healing according to His wise and gracious will. May those who are sick look to Him alone, for a real saving and healing work is the work of God, and God alone.

We also pray with you against lustful thoughts. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord. Our thoughts must be conformed to God's thoughts or we cannot have fellowship with Him. How precious are His thoughts unto us, and how great is the sum of them. They are constant, kind, wise, tender and gracious. When we awake, may we be still with Him, with holy thoughts that place us near to God. We pray that the Lord would give you the mind of Christ, that you may overcome evil thoughts by looking to Him who is our familiar Friend and ever lives to help us. Keep your heart and your dwelling pure before Him, and let all that surrounds you lead your thoughts aright, and the Lord who perceives our thoughts will keep you and give you victory.

May the Lord grant you confidence in His forgiveness through the blood of Jesus, for low thoughts of God create doubts, but high thoughts of God beget hope. Rest assured that He forgives freely if you rest on Jesus, and that forgiveness dries up the well of bitterness.

We commend you and your loved ones to Him who invites the weary to come and find rest for their souls. May He grant sleep, health, healing, and holiness, for His glory. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your prayer requests with us. We join you in giving thanks to God for His goodness, for every good gift comes from His hand and He is worthy of our gratitude.

We pray with you for good rest. Scripture reminds us that there remains a rest for the people of God, and we ask the Lord to grant you peaceful sleep and true rest for your soul in Christ, free from anxiety and turmoil, trusting that He watches over you night and day.

We lift up to the Lord the health needs you mentioned and especially the lung issues. We ask our compassionate Father to bring healing according to His will, to grant quick recovery, strength to the body, and comfort to those who are suffering and to those who care for them. We pray that He would give wisdom to any who provide care and peace to all who are waiting on His mercy.

We also pray with you against lustful thoughts. The desires of this world and the deceitfulness of riches can choke the word and lead the heart astray, and lust is part of that snare. We ask God to purify your heart and mind, to help you fix your thoughts on what is holy and true, to give you strength to turn away from temptation and to walk in purity by the power of the Holy Spirit. May He fill you with His grace so that you may live in a way that honors Him.

We encourage you to continue in prayer and in the word, keeping your hope set on Christ. He hears the prayers of His people and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun.

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, asking for His mercy, healing, and keeping power in your life. Amen.

We thank God with you for His goodness and we join you in bringing these needs before Him. He hears your prayer for rest, for health, for those you love, for healing of lungs, and for victory over impure thoughts.

Scripture speaks of a rest that still remains for the people of God. It is not a rest we earn by our own effort, skill, or striving. We enter it by faith in Jesus and His finished work on the cross. Just as God rested after His work of creation, we are invited to cease from trying to make ourselves acceptable and to trust fully in what Christ has done. That promise is still open, and God desires that none of us would come short of it through unbelief. When we commit our way to the Lord and trust Him, the natural result is rest. We can rest in His will, knowing His will is best even when we do not understand it, and wait patiently for Him without fretting or anxiety. We pray that you will know that kind of rest in your heart and also good, quiet sleep for your body, as you learn to rest on the Lord and not on your own resources.

We also bring your health needs before the Lord. We ask Him to touch the lungs you mentioned and to bring quick and complete healing according to His mercy, and to strengthen the health of your loved ones and yourself. God is compassionate and able to care for our bodies, and we trust Him to do what is best.

Concerning lustful thoughts, be encouraged that temptation itself is not sin. Even Jesus was tempted, yet without sin. We are all tempted when we are drawn away by our own desires and enticed. God does not solicit us to evil. The enemy does, and he often appeals to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. These things belong to the passing world, not to the Father. The temptation often whispers that we can have immediate fulfillment if we step outside God's path, but indulging the flesh never truly satisfies. It only needs to be starved. Sin comes when desire is allowed to conceive, and sin when finished brings death.

Victory comes not by willpower alone but by walking in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Hide the Word of God in your heart, for Jesus answered every temptation with what is written. Remember that in Christ you have died to the old life and your life is now hidden with Him. You do not have to be mastered by the flesh any longer. When temptation comes, make the choice to reckon yourself dead to that desire and alive to God, and turn quickly to the Word and to prayer.

We pray for you now. Father, thank You for Your goodness and for the rest You have provided through Jesus. Help our brother to enter more deeply into that rest by faith, ceasing from his own works and trusting in Your finished work. Grant peaceful sleep and restore health. Touch the lungs that are struggling and bring healing in Your perfect timing. Give strength to overcome temptation, to walk in the Spirit, to treasure Your Word in the heart, and to live a holy life before You. Build patience and trust as You are waited upon. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been joining you in thanking the Lord for His goodness and we continue to lift up your requests before Him for good and restorative rest, for health for you and those you love, for healing for lung issues and for quick and complete healing, and for victory and purity against lustful thoughts. We pray that the Lord will grant you sweet rest, for He gives sleep to His beloved according to Psalm 127:2, that He will lay His healing hand upon those struggling with lung issues and bring restoration according to James 5:15, and that He will give you strength to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ as we are taught in 2 Cor 10:5.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray that God will bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in Jesus Name, Amen.
