Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for ###’s health, for my ###, for healing for my ###, and against lustful thoughts

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and truth, lifting up these concerns in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. First, we give thanks for God’s goodness, for His mercies are new every morning, and His faithfulness is great (Lamentations 3:22-23). We pray for rest that is deep and renewing, for the peace of God that surpasses all understanding to guard hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). Father, we ask for healing and strength for , trusting in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We also lift up , asking for Your protection, provision, and guidance in every area of life.

Now, we must address the matter of lustful thoughts with clarity and love, for Scripture is clear that such things do not align with God’s design for purity and holiness. Jesus warned that even looking at someone with lust is akin to committing adultery in the heart (Matthew 5:28), and the apostle Paul exhorts us to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Lustful thoughts defile the mind and heart, leading us away from the path of righteousness. We rebuke these thoughts in the name of Jesus, for He has given us the power to resist temptation and walk in purity (1 Corinthians 10:13). We encourage you to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to fill your mind with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy that endure forever. We ask for rest that restores the soul, for healing that comes from Your hand, and for strength to overcome every temptation. Lord, we specifically ask for Your healing touch upon and for Your provision and guidance in the life of . Father, we confess that lustful thoughts are not of You, and we repent of any way we have entertained them. Cleanse our minds and hearts, Lord, and renew a right spirit within us. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in purity and holiness, honoring You in all we do.

We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we shall condemn, for this is our heritage as servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promises, trusting that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in us (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen us to resist temptation, to flee from sin, and to run the race set before us with endurance, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Father, we also lift up any areas of life where we have not fully surrendered to You. Help us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). We pray for godly spouses for those who are seeking marriage, that they may find partners who love You and will walk in Your ways. May all relationships be built on the foundation of Christ, honoring the sanctity of marriage as You designed it, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman.

We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We’re thankful you brought all of this to prayer, including the areas that often feel hardest to name out loud. Carrying tiredness, concern for the people you love, and a private battle with lustful thoughts is a heavy combination. When rest is thin and worry is high, the mind often feels more vulnerable, so we’re glad you did not keep this to yourself.

For the struggle with lustful thoughts, one honest next step is to find one trusted, mature believer you can talk with this week, someone who will not shame you but will help you walk in the light. That kind of quiet accountability weakens the power of hidden struggle more than most people expect.

Lord, thank You for Your goodness, which does not depend on our strength. We bring this friend before You now. Grant real rest for body and mind, and restore what exhaustion has worn thin. Bring Your healing touch to the ones they love, and give wisdom to anyone caring for their health. For the battle with lustful thoughts, we ask You to guard heart and mind, to make every exit clear, and to surround them with a trustworthy brother or sister in Christ who can help carry this in confidence. Thank You that we can come to You with our whole need, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Thankfulness becomes a soul that comes before the Most High, for every good gift is from above. You have asked for rest, for the health of one dear to you, for healing, and for victory over lustful thoughts. Bring these burdens to Jesus, for He still receives sinners and sufferers.

Seek rest where alone it is given. It is not the rest of idleness, but rest on the wing, rest in service, the rest of a man who has first come to Jesus and has found peace with God. He says, Come unto Me, and I will give you rest. This is present rest, not merely rest after death. Learn of Him, take His yoke, and you shall find rest unto your soul.

For the sick and the wounded, carry the one for whom you pray to the Great Physician. There is one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary; to wash therein is health. His thoughts are higher than your thoughts, and He may heal the body, but He will surely do right. Plead for healing, but submit the case to His wise and tender will. He binds up the broken in heart, and His healing leaves are for the nations.

Against lustful thoughts, you do well to cry to God. But prayer must be joined with watchfulness. Flee the occasions of sin, starve the flesh, feed upon the Word, and ask the Holy Spirit to make Christ precious to you. Purity is not a thing to be praised lightly; it is the great separator between the people of God and the world. Ask Him to wash you from inward defilement, and remember that they who trust in themselves are not safe. True cleansing is the work of God alone.

May the Lord grant you such rest as is found in Jesus, such healing as comes from His hand, and such purity as flows from union with Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is right to thank God before asking, and we join you in asking for sound rest, for the health of those you name, for healing, and for deliverance from lustful thoughts. But do not let prayer become a substitute for watchfulness. Hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation. Lust belongs to the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, along with gluttony, envy, and vainglory. So ask God for purity, and also guard your eyes, flee idleness, and fill the mind with Scripture. Labor to enter God’s rest, lest anyone fall by the same example of unbelief.

For the sick, we ask healing according to His will, and we should not delay to show them care. We rejoice not only when we hear of health but when we see it, as Epaphroditus was sent with speed. Yet all healing, bodily and spiritual, comes through Jesus Christ alone. If any part of your request would seek blessing on a bond or situation contrary to His ordinance, marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, we cannot ask God to bless that thing. We ask instead for repentance, cleansing, and freedom. What is done is healing, not cruelty.

Do not despair over repeated struggle against lustful thoughts. Many hear ten times and seem unmoved, then later bear fruit all at once. The sick can become healthy, and the healthy by remissness grow infirm. Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. Let him who falls arise. Lift up the hands that hang down. Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead. We ask God to give you both rest and watchfulness, that your desire for hearing may not fail of its effect.
