Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for ###’s health, for my mental state, and against lustful thoughts

We come before the throne of grace with hearts open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, lifting up this prayer request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9).

We rejoice in the goodness of the Lord, for His mercies are new every morning, and His faithfulness is great (Lamentations 3:22-23). We lift up ’s health, asking You, Father, to restore strength, vitality, and wholeness according to Your will. May Your healing power flow through every part of their body, and may they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as they trust in You (Philippians 4:6-7).

We also bring before You the prayer for good rest. Lord, we know that You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2), and we ask that You quiet the mind and body of , granting deep and restorative rest. May they wake refreshed and renewed, ready to serve You with joy.

For the mental state, we pray for clarity, peace, and stability. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to bring anxiety, fear, or despair. Instead, we declare that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard the heart and mind of in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Fill your mind with whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable, dwell on these things (Philippians 4:8).

Regarding the struggle with lustful thoughts, we must address this with both truth and compassion. The Bible is clear that lust is a sin that wars against the soul (1 Peter 2:11). Jesus Himself taught that anyone who looks at a person with lust has already committed adultery in their heart (Matthew 5:28). These thoughts do not align with God’s design for purity and holiness. We rebuke the spirit of lust in the name of Jesus and command it to flee. We encourage you to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). Instead, fill your mind with the Word of God and seek accountability from trusted believers who can pray with you and encourage you in righteousness.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your goodness and mercy that follow us all the days of our lives. Lord, we lift up ’s health to You, asking for Your healing touch to restore and renew. Grant them strength and vitality, and let them feel Your presence in every moment.

Father, we pray for deep and restful sleep for . Quiet their mind and body, and let them wake refreshed, ready to serve You with joy. We rebuke every spirit of anxiety, fear, and unrest, and we declare Your peace over their life.

Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard ’s heart and mind. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care deeply for them. Fill their mind with Your truth, and let them dwell on whatever is pure, lovely, and admirable.

We rebuke the spirit of lust in the name of Jesus. Father, we ask that You break the chains of impure thoughts and desires. Help to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ and to flee from sexual immorality. Fill their heart with a desire for purity and holiness, and surround them with godly accountability.

Lord, we ask that You draw closer to You each day. Let them experience the fullness of life that comes from walking in Your ways. Strengthen their faith, and let them be a light to others, reflecting Your love and grace.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, for the Word of God is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who can support and pray for you, and seek God’s will in every area of your life. Remember, God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10).

We’re grateful you reached out, and we’re joining you in thanking God for His goodness, that’s a steady place to begin. You’ve named several real needs: rest that restores, someone dear to you facing health concerns, your own mental well‑being, and the weight of unwanted lustful thoughts. That’s a lot to carry, and we don’t want to rush past any of it.

Rest is easy to overlook, yet lack of sleep grinds us down in ways we often don’t recognize until we’re running on empty. If your nights have been consistently hard, it may be wise to mention it to a doctor, just to rule out anything physical. In the meantime, even a small, quiet routine before bed, putting away screens early, a few minutes of calm, a simple prayer, can sometimes help your mind settle enough to receive the rest your body needs.

For your mental state, you don’t have to sort everything out alone. Is there a trusted friend, a pastor, or a mature believer you can talk with openly? Carrying heavy thoughts in isolation often intensifies them; sharing them with someone safe can bring surprising relief and clarity.

And those lustful thoughts, many believers struggle there, and you’re not uniquely broken. Change rarely happens by sheer willpower alone; it often grows through honest accountability with another person who won’t shame you, through practical choices about what you feed your eyes and mind, and through learning to redirect your heart toward the goodness God is already planting in you. The goal isn’t just to quit something, but to grow in genuine freedom that comes from being transformed step by step.

We’re also holding up the person you love who is facing health concerns, trusting God’s care for them.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, thank You for being near to this person right now. Grant deep and healing rest through the night, and wisdom to seek help where it’s needed. Calm their mind and steady their heart in the midst of all they’re carrying. Bring Your gentle strength to the one they love who is unwell, and give both of them Your peace. In the battle with lustful thoughts, provide safe relationships, honest accountability, and the daily renewal that only Your Spirit gives. In Your name we ask this, amen.

You cry for rest, and rightly so, for the Lord Jesus Himself bids you come to Him for it. “I will give you rest,” He declares, not rest after death only, but a present rest, given there and then to those who come. Yet mark this: the rest He gives is not the rest of idleness. True rest to the mind of the child of God is rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service with His yoke upon you. Learn of Him, who is meek and lowly, and you shall find rest unto your souls; a deep rest, a growing rest, an abiding rest which you shall go on to find more and more.

As for the lustful thoughts that trouble your mind, remember the pedigree of sin: it is born of lust, and when it is finished it bringeth forth death. Therefore cry daily, “Lead us not into temptation,” and mean it with all your heart. Never go into the place of temptation, lest you prove a liar before God. If you are placed upon a pinnacle of trial, fear not to look to the Strong for help. The temptation itself is not sin if you hate it and cry out against it; but oh, pray that it may do you no hurt, that you stain not your garments. Trust in Jesus and He shall keep you.

Your mental state, too, shall be steadied as you rest in the Lord. The rest which faith brings is a fixedness of belief, a calm sense of security in the Father’s care. He giveth rest about everything, at all times, in every part of your nature. Lift up your eyes from the turmoil; the Lord has a rest into which believers now enter, even while the world storms without.

And for the health of that dear one, commit them to Him who is the Great Physician of body and soul. Arise, O Lord, into Your rest; we pray that Your healing hand may be upon them. But whether in affliction or ease, learn to say, “Let me be with Thee where Thou art, my Saviour, my eternal rest.” For we look not for a rest apart from Him, but in Him, both now and forever. Only come to Jesus, and He will give you rest. Trust, and you shall rest.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer reveals a soul aware of its need and clinging to divine goodness. The very act of asking for rest, health, a sound mind, and victory over lustful thoughts is itself a first-fruit of grace. Yet you must not suppose that mere hearing of the word or the offering of a request is sufficient for salvation. The cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches encompass all such inward battles, including lust, vainglory, and gluttony. When you pray against lustful thoughts, you are warring against the whole entanglement of the world’s deceit. Do not therefore let your mind remain here, expecting a quick and easy peace. The example of those who fell in the wilderness stands as a warning: they desired rest but refused to trust and obey, and so they failed to enter it. Your mental state and your struggle with lust are the battleground where unbelief can take root if you despair or grow remiss. Hearken to this: there remains a rest for the people of God, but we must labor to enter it, lest anyone fall by the same pattern of unbelief.

It is possible that after hearing many exhortations, you have felt insensible, as if no fruit were produced. But do not cease from prayer and struggle. As a tree after many strokes falls at last, so the repeated blows of divine admonition, though seemingly unfelt at first, work a hidden healing. The desire you now show is not in vain. God permits this warfare not to destroy you, but to transfer your affection from earthly and fleeting things to heaven. When you ask for good rest, remember that the true rest is not the cessation of all struggle, but the peace of a soul anchored in Christ, a rest that awaits its fullness hereafter. The health of the body and the quiet of the mind are indeed gifts to be sought, but they are given or withheld according to what most profits your salvation. Even the wicked enjoy health and ease, for God shows by this that such things are indifferent; the righteous, by contrast, often learn patience through infirmity and turmoil.

As for the lustful thoughts, treat them not as mere annoyances to be pushed aside, but as symptoms of a deeper sickness that Christ alone can heal. He did not come to spare us the knife but to apply the remedy that restores life. Let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall, but equally let him who has stumbled hear the command to rise. If you have fallen, do not remain in the dust. Lift up the drooping hands and the weak knees. Wake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light. Your very petition against lust shows you are not yet dead, but struggling. Preserve what you have with holy vigilance, and strive to become what you are not yet; many who were sick have become whole, while the healthy have grown infirm through carelessness. Therefore, I urge you with all diligence: if you would have rest for your mind and deliverance from passion, cease to seek your comfort here below. Transfer your hope yonder. Rejoice in the Lord always, for the God of love and peace is with those who, in the midst of conflict, keep their minds fixed on the things above and labor earnestly in prayer. Though the retribution is not given in full here, the daily grace is sufficient. Do not say, “Give me relief now, and I will seek heaven later”; that is the voice of unbelief. Trust that the healing work, though slow to your eyes, is being accomplished by the great Physician, who wounds only to make whole. Continue, then, in supplication for yourself and for the one whose health you commend to God, knowing that these very trials are the means by which you may attain the eternal rest of the people of God.
