Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, your peace for my family, favor in the tree situation, and financial blessing

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the goodness of our Heavenly Father. We lift up this request, asking for rest, peace, family unity, favor, and financial blessing. First, let us acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from above, from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow (James 1:17). We are grateful for the blessings already bestowed and trust in His provision for all needs.

Heavenly Father, we pray for deep and restorative rest for this dear one. In a world that is constantly busy and filled with distractions, grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they find solace in Your presence, knowing that You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Renew their strength like the eagle’s, so they may rise up and run without growing weary, walk without fainting (Isaiah 40:31).

We also lift up their family, asking for Your peace to reign in their home. Lord, bind them together with cords of love that cannot be broken (Colossians 3:14). Where there is strife or misunderstanding, bring reconciliation and healing. Let Your love be the foundation of their relationships, and may they seek You together in all things. We rebuke any division, discord, or influence of the enemy that seeks to disrupt the unity of this family. In the name of Jesus, we declare that this home is a dwelling place for Your Spirit, filled with Your peace and joy.

Regarding the "tree situation," we ask for Your divine favor and wisdom. Whether this involves a literal tree, a decision, or a circumstance that feels overwhelming, we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Grant clarity, patience, and favor with those involved. May Your will be done, and may this situation turn out for good, as You work all things together for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Father, we also bring before You the need for financial blessing. We know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14), and that You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings until there is no more need (Malachi 3:10). Give wisdom in managing resources, discernment in financial decisions, and opportunities to prosper in ways that honor You. We rebuke the spirit of lack, fear, and poverty in the name of Jesus. May this dear one walk in the abundance of Your provision, not just for their needs, but so they may also be a blessing to others.

Lord, we also want to gently remind this dear one of the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that they would do so today. Salvation is found in no one else, and we encourage them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all blessings and the source of true peace.

Heavenly Father, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. May Your will be done in every area of this dear one’s life. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

We stand in agreement with this prayer, trusting that You hear and answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

Thank you for letting us share in this prayer with you. It is a gift to start by thanking God for His goodness, even while you are asking for help in specific areas. We take that as a sign of real trust, and we are glad to stand with you.

You mentioned needing rest, and we know how hard it can be to quiet our minds when there are so many practical concerns pressing in. That you named rest first tells us it’s likely a deep need right now. We pray God gives you the kind of sleep that truly restores, and the inner stillness that comes from casting your cares on Him.

For the peace of your family, we ask God to calm any friction or worry and to draw each of you closer to Him and to one another. As for the tree situation, we don’t know the details, whether it’s a property dispute, a hazard, or a financial decision, but we pray for favor and a clear, fair resolution. Along with prayer, we gently encourage you to take any straightforward practical step that is yours to take. If an expert’s opinion or a calm conversation with a neighbor is needed, dong that can be an act of wisdom and not a lack of faith. The same goes for the financial need: we trust God to provide, and we also know He often uses the help of a wise friend, a budget coach, or an open door to steady work.

We are praying with you now:

Father, thank You for Your steadfast love. Grant our friend deep, healing rest tonight and in the days ahead. Settle Your peace over their whole household. Give them favor and a clear path through the tree matter, and supply every financial need according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is well that you begin with thanksgiving, for a grateful heart is the soil where blessings grow. You ask for good rest, come, then, to Jesus, for He alone says, “I will give you rest.” It is a present rest, not a distant hope; by an act of faith, recline upon His promise now, and you shall find rest for your soul. This is the rest of a learner, the quiet repose of one who takes His yoke and finds it light. In that rest, peace is given, perfect peace, for His blood whispers it within even when duties press and shadows fall.

You pray for peace for your family. Oh, that you might all find the double blessing of grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! This peace is a present possession, not a distant dream, and it comes when each heart is right with God through the new birth. Delight yourselves in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart, perhaps not every earthly desire, but those purified longings that spring from a heart indwelt by His Law.

The tree situation you bring is known to Him who notes even a sparrow’s fall. Trust in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and verily you shall be fed. Rest in the Lord, waiting patiently; He may make the sixth year bring forth fruit for three years, and His favour can turn a barren plot into a garden of rest. Favour is His to give, life and favour are in His hand. The highest favour is to be chosen of Him, called by grace, and made a blessing. Seek that favour first; the temporal shall follow.

As for financial blessing, He who fed the jailor and Paul in the dungeon knows your need. Yet beware of eating that which is evil; eat that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Lay hold upon Christ by faith, and whether He gives much or little, you shall be content, for you shall be a blessing to others, and that is to share Abraham’s portion. Oh, that you may be kept from sinning against His favour, and that out of your own rest you may bear fruit! This I pray for you: that you may be still, know His peace, and find Him to be your exceeding great reward.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You give thanks for God’s goodness, yet consider what you ask. You seek good rest, family peace, favor in some earthly matter, and financial blessing. These are carnal things. The former blessings promised long life for the flesh, milk and honey, luxury, and peace for the flesh. But now in Christ we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. We are made immortal, righteous, sons and fellow-heirs with Christ. Why then do you stoop to beg for what passes away? The world offers tribulation; Christ offers peace that the world cannot give. True peace is reconciliation with God, not the absence of trouble. If you have that, you have all.

As for the tree situation and money, consider Jacob. He received the blessing, yet his days were few and evil, spent in servitude, fear, and plots. His brother enjoyed ease and security. The blessing was fulfilled not in earthly wealth but in the world to come. Will you trade spiritual riches for a few coins? You ask for rest, but what rest? There remains a rest for the people of God, entered by faith, not by the absence of labor. Do not fall through unbelief as Israel did in the wilderness. Their carcasses fell. Strive to enter that rest, lest you fail after the same example.

And peace for your family. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. But not every concord is good. Robbers agree together, yet their peace is destruction. True peace springs from cutting off sin, not from smoothing over rebellion. If any in your house war against truth, your peace must be the surgeon’s knife, not a truce with iniquity. With the haters of peace I was peaceful, says the psalmist. Imitate the Son of God. Be at peace with all insofar as it depends on you, but never at the cost of righteousness. The peace the Church proclaims is peace with God through the blood of Christ. That is the mother of all good things.

Therefore I exhort you: redirect your prayers. Ask for grace to endure tribulation, for a heart that treasures heavenly things, for forgiveness of sins, for the peace that passes understanding, and for the salvation of your household. Labor not for the food that perishes. If God in His mercy adds earthly provisions, receive them with thanksgiving, but do not set your hope on them. Seek first the kingdom, and all else will be added. Stand aloof from carnal desires, and pursue the spiritual blessings that are already yours in Christ. Let your rest be in Him who said, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” That is the rest worth seeking.
