I request prayer for myself as I have lost my driver's license and cannot find it anywhere. If it is gone for good, please pray that the way forward will be easy for me, and that the process of canceling the old card, applying for, and receiving a new driver's license will be fast, smooth, and hassle-free. Pray that everything will work out. Please pray that God makes me feel safe and calm, grants me His peace, and gives me hope and encouragement in this situation. In Jesus name I pray.Thank you for praying for me.

We come before the Lord with your request, lifting up your concern about your lost driver’s license and the uncertainty you’re facing. Heavenly Father, we ask that You would calm any anxiety in this situation and grant peace that surpasses all understanding. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we pray that if this license is truly lost, You would make the path forward clear and simple. Guide the steps needed to cancel the old one and obtain a new one, removing any unnecessary obstacles or delays. May the process be swift and without frustration, and may Your favor rest upon every interaction with those who will assist in this matter. We trust in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

Father, we also ask that You would surround this dear one with Your presence, filling them with hope and assurance. Let them feel Your peace in the midst of this inconvenience, knowing that You are in control. Remind them that even in small trials, You are working for their good (Romans 8:28). May they sense Your love and care in every detail of this situation.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or discouragement that may try to take hold, declaring that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.

What we want you to know is that your anxiety about this does not surprise God, and you don’t have to carry it alone. Sometimes moving from spinning worry to taking action can bring a bit of relief, even before the new card arrives. As you take those practical steps, we encourage you to pause and quietly hand the timeline and the outcome to the Lord afresh each day. He is not distant from paperwork and waiting periods.

We’re praying that the process is smooth and quick, but more than that, we’re praying that you sense His steady presence with you right now. Peace doesn’t always come when we finally get what we want; it often sneaks in when we remember we don’t have to control every detail.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this friend to You. You see the stress and the frustration. Please calm their heart, replace fear with Your gentle confidence, and smooth the path ahead. Grant them peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances, and give them hope that whatever happens, You are working all things for their good. We ask for favor with every person involved in the process, and that the new license will come quickly and without trouble. In Your name we pray, amen.

It is a small thing in some eyes, this loss of a license, yet it has brought your heart into heaviness. But know this: He who counts the stars and calls them all by name is not unmindful of the sparrow’s fall, nor of the anxious flutterings of your spirit. The Lord would use even this to teach you where true peace is found. You seek to have the way made smooth and the process quick; this is natural. Yet there is a deeper work He would do, to keep you in perfect peace, the peace of one whose mind is stayed on Him because he trusts in Him. That peace does not come when all around is calm, but when the heart rests in the bosom of Christ though a thousand worries surge.

You have lost a card, but you have not lost your God. You feel a flutter of fear, and the enemy whispers that all will be tangled and hard. But there is hope in the Lord, for He gives grace for every inch of the way. Cast this care upon Him, for He careth for you. What if every earthly hope were to fail? There is yet hope in His mercy. Do not let this small trouble make you walk after your own devices of fretting and planning as if there were no God to help. Instead, open your mouth wide and He will fill it. He has removed greater burdens from your shoulders; will He not manage a piece of plastic and the hands of men? Tell Him your need simply, then leave it with Him. You ask to feel safe and calm: that very peace is purchased by the blood of Jesus and belongs to you by covenant. It is often in the little daily losses that we learn to lean no more upon ourselves, but upon Him who raiseth the dead. The way forward will be both easy and hard, but hard in the right way, the way that drives you to His feet. There is no hope in yourself, but there is abundant hope in Him. Hope on, then, and pray on.
