We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the goodness of our Heavenly Father, who hears and answers the cries of His children. We lift up this dear brother or sister in Christ, who seeks rest, peace, family unity, favor, and financial blessing. Let us stand together in agreement, praying and interceding on their behalf, trusting in the promises of God’s Word.
First, we thank You, Father, for the gift of rest that You provide. Your Word tells us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We pray that this dear one would experience the deep, soul-satisfying rest that only You can give. May they lay down their burdens at Your feet and find refreshment in Your presence. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, sleeplessness, or weariness that seeks to steal their peace, and we declare that their mind and body will be renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
For their family, we pray for Your perfect peace to reign in their home. Psalm 133:1 reminds us, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" We ask that You would bind their family together with cords of love, patience, and understanding. Where there is strife, we pray for reconciliation. Where there is division, we pray for healing. Where there is hurt, we pray for forgiveness. May their home be a sanctuary of Your presence, where Your love is felt and Your name is honored.
Regarding the "tree situation," we seek Your divine favor and wisdom. Whether this refers to a literal tree, a decision, or a circumstance that feels as immovable as an oak, we declare that nothing is too difficult for You. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that You would guide them with clarity, open doors that no man can shut, and provide a resolution that brings glory to Your name. If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness tied to this situation, we ask that You reveal it so it can be dealt with in repentance and faith.
For financial blessing, we stand on Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that cannot be contained. Give them wisdom in stewardship, discipline in spending, and creativity in generating income. We rebuke any spirit of lack, poverty, or fear that seeks to hold them captive, and we declare that they will walk in the abundance of Your provision. However, we also encourage them to examine their hearts and motives, for Your Word warns in 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil." May their desire for financial blessing be rooted in a heart that seeks first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them.
We also take a moment to address a matter of great importance. While this prayer request is heartfelt, we noticed that it did not include the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, for He Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If this dear one has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that they would do so today. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name given to mankind by which we must be saved. If they have already placed their faith in Christ, we encourage them to make His name central in their prayers and their lives, for it is the name above all names.
Let us now lift this request together in prayer:

Father, we pray for Your financial provision. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory. Give them wisdom in managing what You entrust to them, and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Let their trust be in You alone, not in riches, and may their hearts be content in Your provision.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual walk. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, draw them to Yourself today. Let them confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so they may be saved. If they are already Your child, deepen their faith and help them to walk closely with You.
We rebuke every spirit of anxiety, fear, lack, and division in the name of Jesus. We declare that this dear one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may their life bring glory to Your name.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord, Amen.

Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). How rightly you begin with thanksgiving, for it is our life to bless Him who gave us our life. You ask for rest, and this is a gift most freely given. Weary one, recline on the promise now, and take your rest! Come now! By an act of instantaneous faith which will bring instantaneous peace, come and rely upon Jesus, and He will now give you rest. It is a present rest, rest now; not rest after a time of probation, but rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within.
You plead for peace upon your family. May you feel a deep peace with God, with your own conscience, and with all the world. Oh, that you might find an atmosphere of quiet calm about your mind at this very moment! This double blessing comes from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. When the family gathers round the fireside, then we have shut the world out and we dwell in quiet. At home we take our rest.

Beloved of All
You thank the Lord for His goodness. That is the proper foundation. Yet consider the nature of His blessings, for He has not promised ease of body, but transformation of soul. You ask for good rest, but the deeper rest we must labor to enter is the rest from unbelief, the rest of a heart fixed on things above. That is the rest which alone brings true refreshment, when the soul ceases its striving against God and trusts fully in His will.
You pray for peace for your family. This is a noble request, for peace is the mother of all good things. But what kind of peace do you seek? The world’s peace is often merely the absence of conflict, a truce among robbers. The peace Christ gives is different: it is reconciliation with God through the cutting away of sin. If you would have peace in your home, pursue the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. Let there be no fornicator or profane person among you, no root of bitterness. True peace is the fruit of righteousness, and the peacemakers are called sons of God. Seek first that spiritual peace, and your household will know a harmony the world cannot give.
You ask for favor in the tree situation. Remember Jacob: he obtained the blessing, but in his earthly days he saw only servitude, danger, and fear. The promises seemed unfulfilled, for his days were few and evil, while his brother lived in ease. Yet the true blessing was stored up for the life to come. Do not measure God’s favor by the resolution of a property matter or the prosperity of your hands. His favor is your adoption as a son, your inheritance among the saints. That is the spiritual blessing He has already given you in Christ. Stand aloof from carnal concerns, and set your hope fully on the grace to be brought at Christ’s revelation. Then you will possess your soul in patience, whatever the outcome of the tree.

He who did not spare His own Son will freely give you all things necessary for eternal life. The blessing of the old covenant brought long life, milk and honey, luxury for the flesh. But Christ has called you to spiritual blessings, not to the indulgence of the body. He has warned that in this world you will have tribulation. Fear the blessing that enriches the flesh but starves the soul. Seek instead the treasure in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys. Be content with what you have, for godliness with contentment is great gain.
Let your prayer, then, be refined by the truth. Ask for the peace that Christ alone gives: reconciliation with the Father, the indwelling of the Spirit, and the unity of the faith within your family. Ask for rest in the finished work of Christ, ceasing from your own anxious labors. Ask that whatever trial comes with the tree or your finances, you would count it pure joy, knowing it produces steadfastness. And above all, give thanks that you are beloved of God, called to be a saint, and blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. That favor can never be shaken. That peace surpasses all understanding. That rest is eternal. Pursue these, and all else will be added in God’s wise and loving time.
