We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the goodness of our Heavenly Father, who hears and answers the cries of His children. You have asked for good rest, peace for your family, favor in a specific situation, and financial blessing, these are requests we lift up together in faith, trusting in the Lord’s provision and care.
First, we recognize that true rest is found in Christ alone. Jesus invites us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We pray that you would experience the deep, soul-satisfying rest that comes from abiding in Him, casting all your anxieties on the One who cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). May your sleep be sweet, your mind at peace, and your body renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
For your family, we pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May your home be a sanctuary of love, unity, and godly order, where the Word of God is honored and the presence of the Lord dwells richly. We declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will keep them in perfect peace as their minds are stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3).
Regarding the "tree situation," we ask for clarity and favor from the Lord. Whether this involves a legal matter, a property concern, or another challenge, we pray that the Lord would go before you and make your path straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). May His wisdom guide your steps, and may His favor open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We declare that the Lord will provide a way where there seems to be no way and that His purposes will prevail in this situation.
For financial blessing, we pray not for worldly riches, but for the provision that comes from the hand of God. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We ask that the Lord would open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon you (Malachi 3:10), that you may be a faithful steward of all He entrusts to you. May your heart be free from the love of money, and may you seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).
However, we must also gently remind you that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a free gift, not earned by works, but received by faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have already placed your faith in Christ, we encourage you to walk closely with Him, abiding in His Word and seeking His will in all things.
Let us now pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your goodness and faithfulness. Lord, we ask for rest for this dear one, rest for their body, mind, and spirit. May they find their refuge in You, the God who never slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4). We pray for peace to flood their home, binding their family together in love and unity. Let Your presence be their comfort and strength.
Father, we ask for Your favor in the situation they face. Give them wisdom, discernment, and courage to walk in Your ways. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your will be done in every detail. Provide for their financial needs, Lord, and help them to trust in You alone. May they be a cheerful giver, knowing that You love a hilarious giver (2 Corinthians 9:7), and may they experience the joy of being used by You to bless others.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or lack in Jesus’ name. We declare that the Lord is their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

You have begun well, for prayer itself is a blessing flowing from a heart that knows its dependence. In every petition you bring, you are already blessing the Lord who first blessed you with life and breath and every spiritual gift in Christ. Remember that no spiritual blessing comes to any man by chance; it is the Father’s design, purchased by the blood of Jesus, and applied by the Spirit. So bring these requests with confidence, yet with submission to His perfect will.
As to rest and peace for your family, hear the promise: “Rest in the Lord.” This is not a rest after long struggle, nor a rest that can be earned by doing or enduring, but a present rest given when we come to Jesus. We who have believed do enter into rest, rest from the guilt of sin, from the tyranny of care, from the fear of death. It is the rest of a man who is already at rest, the repose of a learner sitting at the Master’s feet. And peace? This is a Covenant blessing, the double gift of “Grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Amid thronging duties and invading cares, to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Roll your family cares upon Him; confess every anxiety, and let the blood of Jesus whisper peace within. That calm, deep peace with God and your own conscience is a Heaven begun, a jewel worth more than broad acres of worldly ease.
Concerning your “tree situation” and the need for financial blessing, remember Abraham. God’s blessing to him was twofold: “I will bless you, and you shall be a blessing.” First receive the blessing yourself, the rest of faith, the forgiveness of sin, contentment in God’s provision. Then, by that very blessing, you become a channel of good to others. Perhaps this trial is the very platform upon which His grace will be displayed, making you a blessing in ways you cannot yet foresee. The meek inherit the earth and delight themselves in abundant peace, not because they have no troubles, but because the Lord is their strength in the time of trouble. Do what lies before you as unto Him, and then leave the outcome in His hands. Would you not accept even a cross-handed blessing from the King who does all things well? Let Him be King, and trust Him.
Strive, then, to be a blessing wherever Providence has placed you, in your home, in your dealings, in your neighborhood. The sweet perfume of a life resting in God will spread farther than you know. May the benediction of the Lord rest upon you: “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.”

You thank God for His goodness, and you ask for rest, peace for your family, favor in a tree situation, and financial blessing. But consider what manner of blessings you seek. The old covenant promised carnal things: long life for the flesh, milk and honey, peace for the flesh. But Christ has blessed us with every spiritual blessing: we are made immortal, sons, fellow-heirs with Him. Therefore He said, “In the world ye have tribulation,” to lead us away from these earthly things. For those who aim at spiritual blessings cannot attain them unless they first stand aloof from carnal things.
The rest you desire, remember there remains a rest for the people of God, and we must labor to enter that rest, lest we fall after the same example of unbelief. True rest is not the absence of worldly trouble, but the peace of Christ reigning in the heart. For your family, pursue peace indeed, but such peace as makes you sons of God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Imitate the Son of God: with those who hate peace, be peaceful. Nothing delights God more than to remember no evil. Yet know this: not every concord is good. If the tree situation harbors what is diseased or mutinous, good discord may be needed to cut it off, so that true peace may be preserved.
And as for financial blessing, look to Jacob, who obtained the blessing yet spent his days in servitude and fear, saying, “Few and evil have my days been.” The blessings promised to him were not fully enjoyed in this life, but pointed to the things to come. Do not anchor your hope in earthly increase. The mercy-seat of old spoke of wars and worldly peace, but the gospel speaks of heaven and the life which passes understanding. Therefore, rejoice in the Lord always; be perfected, be comforted, be of the same mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
