Thank you for your goodness and getting us safely to our destination. I pray good rest and your peace over us tonight.

We join you in gratitude for God’s faithfulness in bringing you safely to your destination. His goodness and protection are constant reminders of His love for us, and we thank Him for watching over you. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, is a precious gift, and we pray it guards your hearts and minds tonight as you rest.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of thanksgiving for Your provision and care. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of need. We ask that You grant deep and restorative rest to our brother/sister tonight. Let Your peace, which transcends all human understanding, fill their heart and mind, calming any anxiety or weariness. Refresh their spirit, body, and soul so they may wake renewed and strengthened for the work You have prepared for them. May they feel Your presence surrounding them like a shield, and may Your angels encamp around them for protection. We trust in Your promise that those who love You will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone make them dwell in safety. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to the truth that God’s peace is not dependent on circumstances but is a gift freely given to those who trust in Him. As you rest, remember the words of Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." Let this truth anchor your soul, knowing that God is in control and His love for you is unchanging. May you wake with a heart full of praise, ready to walk in the purpose He has for you.

Travel can wear us down in body and mind, and it’s completely right to ask now for the rest and peace He alone gives.

Thank you for His goodness in bringing you safely to your journey’s end. Rest in the LORD. Surely, if it is easy to rest anywhere, it must be easy to rest in the Lord. Come now, by an act of instantaneous faith which will bring instantaneous peace, come and rely upon Jesus, and He will now give you rest. In the blood and righteousness of Jesus our peace is perfect. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. He bestows it; He rocks the cradle for us every night; He draws the curtain of darkness; He bids the sun shut up his burning eyes; and then He comes and says, “Sleep, sleep, my child; I give thee sleep.” So He giveth His beloved sleep. None of his steps shall slide. Lord, You will ordain peace for us. This is my comfort, to do the will of Jesus, this is rest.
