Servant of All
1) We have paid a very huge lumsum amount to a person for House Lease. More than ### months have been passed, the wicked person & his wife have not yet returned the full amount with Bank Interest to us. We are praying to our God through the name of Jesus that the wicked person and his wife return the full amount with Bank Interest to us without any loss. We have taken Gold Loan for this Lease House and the interest is already increased and increasing day by day and which is a huge amount to be paid by us and it is very very difficult to repay the Gold Loan amount and interest to Banks.

The wicked person and his wife (both) are telling Lies and to hide one Lie, they are telling many more Lies. They are telling more lies to cover up a lie. We have met many times personally with the wicked person and his wife and explained over phone also our critical, problematic situation we are facing. Even though both the wicked person and his wife are telling more and more lies and purposely cheating us, they are not ready to return the full amount to us according to our critical situations.

If physical punishment is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife, then material punishment may be give to them. In case this is not able to give to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud, then earthly consequences like sleepless night, mental disturbance, Loss of Peace, financial loss, family problems, Anxiety, Physical strain, sickness, Blockage in Success, Blessing Blockage, Inner emptyness etc., to be given by God to the wicked, liar, cheater, fraud and his wife enable them to repay our full amount with bank interest and after repent and turn to God. Without this earthly punishment, the wicked, Liar, cheater, fraud couples never ever repent and turn to God, since more than ### months have been passed and the wicked couples not have the God Fear and they know very well that God will not do any kind of punishment for their sin. Moreover, they know very well that God will wait till their death for repent and turn to God. Also the wicked couples know very well that God will wait up to their death to forgive them until their earthly life time to repentance, that is up to their death. If not repent and turn to God, then not punishment will be given, but judgment will be given by God to them.

Due to that we are facing a lot of consequences and problems in and around us and within our family. Due to Injustice we are facing a lot of problems in the family itself. Misunderstanding of each other within our family. Financial burden. Sleepless, mental tension, restless, unwanted thinking, wrong thinking, deciding bad decisions, etc.

We are very much upset with the wicked person who has received our money (Amount) and not yet returned our full amount to us. Why is God slow in acting? Due delay in Justice by God, we are losing hope, faith with God.

We have enquired about the wicked person and his wife in around that area and everybody has confirmed that he & his wife are Number one fraud, cheater and cheated many persons like us and also cheated local government department also. Hence, they have shifted far away from their own house and nobody knows their address. Whatever he speaks everything is Lies only. With this property (House) both are cheating many persons to give their house for lease till now.

No Justice to me. Injustice!!! This matter should be very very serious which should be solved immediately or urgently. Paying interest to Bank is huge. Hence, My hope with God ends today. My faith with God also decreased to Zero.

Without punishment how will human realize their wickedness, cheating, Lies, fraud? Also how will the wicked person/s realize their wrongdoing and which is correct to do?. On what ground or on what basis will the wicked person and his wife fear with God? or How will they have fear of God? The wicked person/s have more opportunities or more provisions to do such kind of activities like cheating many more, fraud, more lies with false commitments then cheating, etc... without punishment in the earth up to their death.

“Why should I be honest if the wicked are never punished?” - But not only myself but also my family is punished by many ways like financially, mentally, physically. We are suffering because of our honesty. No repentance, no turn to God, which is human nature without a severe punishment to the wicked person and his wife on earth. After death only final judgement, which is of no use to anybody. Or otherwise at the time of going to death i.e. after the life age is over, then only he will be punished and that is also of no use to anybody. Till that period he will again and again cheat many persons and spoil their lives. Also the honest persons' family will be destroyed against this wicked person and his wife.

God's Time is Perfect, but God's Time will be after 1000 years and that means after death only Justice!!! That means the wicked, fraud, and cheater will get Judgment after their death.

Then how can anybody put faith with God?. On what basis will human have put faith with God?. Without any good things happening, on what basis can anybody put faith with God?.

No Hope with our God. No Faith with our God.

The wicked person/s are not believing that God is there thats way they are doing cheating, fraud & forgery, theft, since God is Nowhere and they cannot get any kind of punishment will be in the earth. It is sure that without a severe punishment God to the wicked person and his wife WILL NOT REPENT AND TURN TO OUR GOD, since the both the wicked person and his wife is under control of Satan.

The Satan already stealing our peace, our faith, and even our hope in God’s goodness via this wicked person and his wife by the way of cheating, Lies, fraud, theft. Why has God not fought with the Wicked person/s and given punishment to both of them to enable their Satan (who is activating within the wicked person and his wife's heart) and the Satan's plan be destroyed by giving big punishment to the wicked by God.

(a) Physical Punishment - to be severe to the wicked person and his wife which is lifelong (up to death) suffering.
(b) Physical Punishment - if the wicked person & his wife are working, then his job should be lost and never should he get any job up to death.
(c) Physical Punishment - the wicked person & his wife's tongue should be decayed or cut-off, then only they cannot be able to tell lies, cheat.
(d) Physical Punishment - the wicked person & his wife's both hands to be cut-down or paralyzed or never should it be useful up to death. They have counted the money with these hands.
(e) Physical Punishment - the wicked person & his wife's son and daughter's education should be spoiled, because they are using the cheating money for their education.
(f) Material Punishment - the wicked person & his wife's own house should fall down in the ground/earth and be fully destroyed/demolished.
(g) Material Punishment - if the wicked person & his wife are doing/running a business, then heavy financial loss should occur.

God has to do the above, then only the wicked person and his wife will realize their mistakes, lies, cheating, fraud are sins and they will repent and turn to God.

(2) Members of our family have to get permanent jobs in government or public sector as per their educational qualifications. Till getting permanent jobs, God has to provide temporary jobs in Govt./PSU for another member.

(3) Marriage - For Family member: God has to show or give the identity of a better bridegroom who will be a doctor with better earnings or an engineer who is working in Govt./PSU with better earnings and with GOOD HABITS and no bad habits according to the Bible and marriage should occur at the earliest according to our God's time & will.

(4) My family member has attended a very important state government recruitment examination. Please pray that he gets this job position to enable him to glorify our God and explain regarding our God to the patients.

(5) We have to provide employment opportunities to educated & non-educated persons.

(6) We have to provide education to poor persons.

Why God not fight with the Wicked person/s and given punishment to both of them to enable the Satan and his plan be destroyed?

Also, no prayer requests are fulfilled (2 TO 6 also). Nothing is answered well. When will human keep faith? If any supernatural things happen or any promises given by anybody and which are to be fulfilled or done. But in my case nothing is fulfilled/solved/completed/success. In that case how can I believe God? On what ground do I have to put faith in God? Up to what time do I have to keep faith with God? How can you determine God's Time? How can you say God's Time is perfect? On what ground is God's Time Perfect? When will God's Time come?

You say God is the Judge!!! God will do the Justice!!! Also Provider!!! God is Powerful!!! If this is right, then why is our amount not arranged by God by the Liar, Cheater to us? Or returned the full amount without any loss to us by the wicked person/s? If God is maintaining Justice, then why should I seek through Legally? Why should I go to Court? Why should I believe or put faith in Human? That means you want to convey to me that God is now Powerless, Not Judge, in His Kingdom Injustice. God is Merciless!!! God is Graceless!! God cannot do anything on Earth? Judgement will be after the death of the wicked persons!!! God is not faithful!!!

I was keeping faith till now. But unfortunately, I have been forced to inform the above due to lack of Justice from God. Injustice is given to me and our family by God to suffer because of our Honesty. Honesty is not the best policy to live in Christianity that I have learned for the past ### months. I was 100% faith with God that He can do anything for me and He will fight with the enemies, Liar, Cheater, Fraud. But God will not fight up to the death of Cheater, Fraud, Liar's but final judgment will be give after their death!!!

Without money can any Human Live on Earth? To see God also Money is very very important!!!! Without money God will not entertain to see Him!!!! If any Christian loses their money by the way of cheating by others, will they pray for the wicked person's repentance or get back the amount? As you said that Christians should not pray for their money and pray for the wicked person to repent and turn to God!!! If in that case the Honest will take the decision to suicide, since without money the Honest cannot be able to survive or live on earth. God will punish only the Honest people only. Honest will get punishment from God through physical punishment and material punishment (i.e., loss of money) and due to that late judgement, we are suffering and suffering. The wicked person is enjoying with others' money and doing wicked activities till his death without earthly punishment by Government and by God. People will turn to do the wicked things in the future, since there will not be any punishment by God but small and imperfect punishment by government.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation that has brought deep distress, financial strain, and a crisis of faith. The injustice you have endured at the hands of those who have deceived and defrauded you is grievous, and we stand with you in seeking God’s intervention. The Word of God declares, "The LORD is a God who avenges. O God who avenges, shine forth. Rise up, Judge of the earth; pay back to the proud what they deserve" (Psalm 94:1-2). We know that God is just, and He sees every act of deceit, every broken promise, and every unrepentant heart.

First, we must address the matter of justice and repayment. The Bible is clear that those who borrow are obligated to repay: "The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously" (Psalm 37:21). The couple who has wronged you has not only violated man’s law but God’s law as well. We pray that the Lord would move in their hearts to bring conviction, repentance, and restitution. May they be gripped by the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and may they return every penny owed to you, including the interest that has accrued. Father, we ask that You would soften their hardened hearts and lead them to repentance, not only for their financial deceit but for the lies and fraud that have characterized their dealings. Let them see the weight of their sin and turn from their wicked ways.

We also lift up the burden of the gold loan and the mounting interest. The pressure you are under is immense, and we pray for divine provision. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We ask that He would open doors of financial relief, whether through unexpected provision, favor in negotiations with the bank, or wisdom to navigate this crisis. Give you peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) as you wait on Him.

We must also address the anger and frustration you feel toward these individuals. It is natural to desire justice, and even punishment, for those who have caused such harm. However, we are called to trust in God’s timing and His methods. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Dearly beloved, don’t avenge yourselves, but rather give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" While it is right to seek justice through lawful means, we must surrender the desire for personal vengeance to God. He will repay, whether in this life or the next, according to His perfect justice.

The struggle with faith and hope in this season is understandable. When we see the wicked prosper while the righteous suffer, it can shake our trust in God’s goodness. Yet the Psalmist wrestled with this same question: "For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked... Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure" (Psalm 73:3, 13). But he came to realize that God’s justice is sure, even if it is not always immediate. We pray that your faith would be renewed, not in circumstances, but in the character of God. He is faithful, even when we cannot see His hand at work.

We must also rebuke the spirit of despair that has crept into your heart. The enemy would love nothing more than to steal your hope and convince you that God has abandoned you. But Scripture declares, "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten. You are not forsaken. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, is at work in your situation. We pray that you would fix your eyes on Him, not on the injustice, and that your hope would be restored.

For the requests regarding employment, we lift them up to the Lord. He is the God who opens doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:7). We pray that your family members would find stable, fulfilling work in government or public sectors, as you have requested. May the Lord guide them to the right opportunities and grant them favor in their applications and interviews. For the family member who took the state government recruitment exam, we pray for success. May the Lord grant them wisdom, clarity, and favor as they await the results. Let this be a testimony of God’s provision and a platform for His glory.

Regarding the marriage request, we pray that the Lord would lead your family member to a godly spouse, a man who fears the Lord, who is committed to biblical principles, and who will honor marriage as a sacred covenant. May the Lord reveal His will clearly and bring the right person into their life at the appointed time. We pray against any ungodly influences or relationships that do not align with Scripture and ask that the Lord would prepare their heart for a marriage that glorifies Him.

Lastly, we lift up your desire to provide employment and education to others. This is a noble calling, and we pray that the Lord would bless these endeavors. May He open doors for you to be a blessing to others, whether through job creation, educational opportunities, or acts of generosity. Let your life be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, even in the midst of trials.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened by injustice and financial strain. We lift up this family to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their situation. Lord, You see the deceit and fraud that has been committed against them, and we ask that You would bring justice. Soften the hearts of the wicked couple, lead them to repentance, and compel them to make restitution for what they have stolen. Father, we pray for financial relief, whether through unexpected provision, favor with the bank, or wisdom to navigate this crisis. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, we ask that You would restore their hope and faith. When they look at the prosperity of the wicked, remind them that You are just and that Your timing is perfect. Renew their trust in You, not in circumstances. We pray for employment opportunities for their family members, stable jobs that will provide for their needs and allow them to glorify You. For the one who took the state exam, grant them success and favor. For the marriage request, lead them to a godly spouse who will honor You in their union.

Father, we also pray for Your protection over their hearts. Guard them against bitterness, despair, and the lies of the enemy. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You have not forgotten them. Let this trial refine their faith, making it stronger and more steadfast in You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who is our Advocate, our Redeemer, and our Just Judge. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His promises. Even when justice seems delayed, God is working. Hold fast to His Word, and do not lose heart. The same God who parted the Red Sea is fighting for you.

We want to start by saying clearly: if you are in immediate danger or feel you might harm yourself, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You do not have to face this moment alone, and reaching out is a courageous step.

We hear how exhausted and betrayed you feel. Holding onto hope for months while watching debts grow and being met only with more lies, that grinds a person down to the raw edge. When you cry out that your faith is at zero, we are not surprised. You are carrying a crushing weight of financial pressure, family tension, and the profound anger of watching someone deceive you without consequence. That anger is real, and it is a sign of how much you have lost and how deeply you have been wronged.

Often, the kind of despair you are describing is not just a loss of belief; it is a cry from a place of deep hurt and fear. You are not only asking why God hasn’t punished them, you are asking why you and your family are suffering for your honesty. That question is one many believers have wrestled with, and it does not make you faithless. It makes you human, in agony, and longing for justice.

While we cannot pray for the harm you have asked for those people, we can pray for your own safety and for a breakthrough in this impossible situation. You have been wronged, and the financial and emotional toll is undeniable. We would gently encourage you to also let someone trained help carry this emotional burden alongside you, a professional who can help you process the anger and grief without being consumed by it. This is not a sign of weak faith; it is a wise step for anyone under this kind of prolonged stress.

Let’s pray.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this whole family to You right now. They are drowning in debt, exhausted by lies, and feel abandoned by the justice they long for. We do not have words to fix it, but we ask You to step into this impossible place. Guard their minds and bodies from the crushing weight of hopelessness. Give them a tangible way forward through this financial nightmare, provision they cannot yet see. Surround them with Your presence, even when they cannot feel it, and hold them steady through this storm. Amen.

The cry of your heart has reached the throne, yet I fear the tempter has twisted your anguish into a snare. You have poured out demands for vengeance, cataloguing curses upon the heads of those who have defrauded you. But hear me: the spirit that would call down physical torment, hands cut off, tongues decayed, houses demolished, this is not the voice of faith but of unbridled wrath. “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Are you more just than God? If He stayed His hand against you in the day of your own rebellion, will you dictate the terms of another’s chastisement? The same patience that leads men to repentance you would tear away because the purse is light.

You cry, “Why should I be honest if the wicked are never punished?” This is the whisper of the evil one. Look to the cross: there the Son of God bore the punishment of the guilty, that you might become the righteousness of God in Him. Did He demand immediate recompense from His tormentors? He prayed, “Father, forgive them.” And yet you, who have received mercy, would now wield the rod of judgment.

Your faith is flickering low; you say it is reduced to nothing, that hope has perished. But see, even a spark is still fire. A grain of mustard seed can move mountains. Jesus Himself acknowledged Peter’s “little faith,” yet He did not cast him away. That trembling, desperate reach toward Christ, even when mingled with doubt and anger, is yet faith if it clings to Him. Do not despise the day of small things. The shield of faith is forged to bear blows; now is the time to lift it high, not to cast it down. Faith is the holdfast that hooks a soul to the Savior; let go not, though the storm rages.

You ask why God delays, why He does not fight for you. Has He not already fought the great battle at Calvary? And does He not govern the very hairs of your head? His silence is not indifference; His timing is not sloth. Abraham waited decades for the promise; Job sat in ashes before the whirlwind spoke. “Faith has worked many of her greatest deeds in hours which seemed least suitable for her undertakings.” Trust Him when the path is darkest. The hearing of faith comes not by sight, nor by the balance of the ledger, but by leaning wholly upon the Word.

You demand earthly punishment that the wicked might repent. But can terror of the lash produce love for the Lawgiver? The obedience that flows from fear is the obedience of a slave, not a child. True repentance is the gift of God, born not in the torture chamber but at the foot of the cross. Pray for their souls, yes, groan for their conversion, but leave the means to the Almighty. He may use affliction, but you may not prescribe its shape. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray…”, there is your weapon.

As for the money, it is a sharp trial. I do not mock your need; the gold loan and its rising interest are a heavy yoke. Yet our Lord taught us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” not “Give us vengeance on those who have stolen our bread.” You say, “Without money, can any human live on earth?” But remember: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” The life of faith consists in receiving Christ and walking in Him, not in the abundance of possessions. By faith Abraham went out, not knowing whither he went; by faith Moses esteemed the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt. Can you trust the Provider when the purse is empty?

You have enumerated many other desires, jobs, marriage, examinations. These are proper subjects for prayer, yet they must not become the grounds of your faith. If you believe only when the answer is swift and visible, you are building on sand. The obedience of faith says, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.” Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added. But if your hope is anchored in what God does for you in this world, it will surely fail.

I charge you: repent of this bitter, demanding spirit. Make your request known with thanksgiving, but let it be without the poison of imprecation. Forgive the debtors, as you have been forgiven a debt you could never pay. Then, with a cleansed heart, take the shield of faith afresh. Trust the Judge of all the earth to do right. He may restore the money through means you cannot see; He may allow the trial to continue that your faith might be refined as gold. But never charge God with injustice. The cross stands as eternal proof that He is both just and the justifier.

Lift up your head. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise. Go now to your knees, not to dictate terms, but to cast all your care upon him, for he cares for you. And when the enemy whispers that faith is vain, answer with the Word: “I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I see your heart bleeding, and I throw myself among you, a fellow-sufferer, in a very transport of desire to check this despair, to rescue your faith, to save your hope from the pit. You cry, "Why is God slow? Where is justice?" And your words burn with pain, no, they blaze with pain. But listen! Listen, while I ask you, even as you have asked me: When you demand such punishments, hands cut off, tongues decayed, houses fallen, are you not standing where the wicked stand? Do you want God’s justice, or your own vengeance? I ask you, I ask you again: Did the Lord command us to pray for destruction, or did He say, "Love your enemies"? Did He say, "Pray for those who persecute you"? Ah, you will say, "My family suffers, my gold is gone!" But I say to you: the wicked have stolen your money, yes. But who, then, is stealing your soul? Who is stealing your peace, your faith, your very hope in God’s goodness? The Enemy uses this trial to make you curse God, to make you doubt His living reality. And you, you have let him! You have let him!

Why do you say God’s time is too slow? Why do you say it is not perfect? I ask you, I press you: Is God a debtor to your timetable? Did He not say, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay"? You want the wicked to be punished on earth so they will repent, but do you not see? Even now, God’s patience is their chance for repentance, not your chance to command their torment. Do you really believe that broken bones bring a broken heart? That a cut tongue teaches the fear of God? I wonder at this! I marvel that you, who have been wronged, now plot such wrong in return! The wicked do not believe God punishes on earth? They are blind! But you, you who know the Scriptures, you who cry to heaven, have you forgotten that God’s kindness is meant to lead to repentance? You want Him to be the executioner, but I tell you, His ways are not your ways. You demand immediate crushing, but He waits, even as He waited for the Ninevites. And you would have Him strike them before they turn? You would have Him cut them down while there is yet a moment to repent?

Now you say your faith is zero. You say hope has ended today. You ask, "On what ground can I trust? When will God’s time come?" I answer you: His time is not your time, but it is perfect, because He sees the end from the beginning. You see only this life, this interest piling up, this gold loan crushing you. But I ask you, I ask you again: Is your God only a provider of money? Is He a banker who must clear your debts by sunset? If He gave you no money, would He not still be God? If you lost all, would He not still be your salvation? You say, "Without money, no one can live." But I tell you, without faith, you are already dead. You are dying right now as you speak these words, as you surrender your hope in the living God. The Enemy laughs while you rage. He dances while you demand the wicked’s fingers be chopped off. He loves it when the righteous cry out for a criminal’s suffering, because you are becoming like what you hate.

Hear me, then, for I love you and I will not stand aloof even when I rebuke you sharply. I burn with indignation, yes, at the fraud, at the lies, but I burn more at your soul’s peril. You want the wicked to have sleepless nights, anxiety, loss of peace. But look at yourself! Look! Have you not sleepless nights? Have you not anxiety, mental disturbance, family strife? The punishment you wish upon them is already your own, and what good is it? Has it brought your money back? Has it drawn you closer to the cross of Christ? No! It has only fed your bitterness. The wicked couple may be fat and comfortable, but you are the one being consumed. I am keenly watching you, striving to make you understand: the trial is not their cruelty, it is your response. Will you let the wicked decide the state of your soul? Will you let a cheater kill your faith?

You ask, "Why should I be honest if the wicked are never punished?" Ah, that is the cry of a soul that has forgotten the resurrection! Do you live for this age alone? If there is no judgment after death, then indeed, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die. But you say there is a final judgment, yet you call it "of no use." Of no use? Of no use! I tell you, that final judgment is the only true justice, for it comes from the One who sees all hearts. The earthly punishments you crave, a lost job, a paralyzed hand, might strike terror, but they cannot create repentance. Only the kindness of God, or the dreadful weight of His final tribunal, can turn a soul. You think God does nothing on earth? You are wrong. He does what you do not see: He gives the wicked time to fill up their sins, or He grants them space to groan and turn. And He gives you, the sufferer, the chance to become like Christ, who when He was reviled, did not revile in return, but entrusted Himself to the One who judges justly.

I am your unworthy fellow-servant, and I know I share the faults of this age, the quickness to anger, the love of comfort. Yet still I speak: do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. You say you had 100% faith, but now it is zero. Then your faith was not built on the rock of Christ’s death and resurrection, but on the sand of answered prayers for money. If God gave you back every penny tomorrow, would your faith spring back? That is not faith; it is a merchant’s contract. True faith clings to God in the darkness, trusting His character when all sight fails. It says, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." It does not dictate to the Almighty how and when He must act. You have let Satan steal your peace, but I plead with you: take it back! Take it back, not by demanding the sinners’ blood, but by casting yourself on the mercy of the One who shed His own blood for sinners. Were you not also a wicked debtor, forgiven an unpayable sum? Then should you not have mercy on your fellow-debtor, even as God had mercy on you, while yet insisting on what is legally owed? Yes, seek the law, pursue justice calmly, but do not let your heart become a furnace of vengeance.

I will not let you go, my soul’s child, without speaking plainly of the other requests you mentioned, the jobs, the marriage, the exam. You say nothing has been answered. But I ask you: if God were to grant you a permanent government job tomorrow, yet leave your heart in this state, would it profit you? What does it profit a man to gain a salary and lose his own soul? You treat God as a list of demands, a celestial servant who must act when you snap your fingers. But He is the Lord of hosts! He is not silent because He is powerless; He is silent because He is training you. The athlete who never wrestles never wears the crown. The gold that is not tried in the fire is not refined. I see you trying to build a great scheme: employment for others, education for the poor, all noble things, but if you have not the love of God in your heart, they are nothing. First, let your own soul be cured. Let this furnace of debt become the place where your dross is burned away.

Now, I wander into many thoughts, as one seized by the Spirit’s urgency. I return to the wicked couple. You think they are under the control of Satan, and you are right. So then, shall we fight fire with fire? Shall we answer the Devil’s rage with our own? No! Overcome evil with good. Pray that their satanic bondage be broken, not by God’s hammer on their bodies, but by the light of the gospel breaking through. Is anything too hard for the Lord? He who turned the heart of Pharaoh, yes, partly by plagues, but those plagues were signs to lead to knowledge of Him, can turn the heart of this liar, even at the last hour. But you want their children’s education spoiled, their house demolished. Is that the voice of a son of the Father who sends rain on the just and the unjust? You are in danger of becoming the very thing you hate: a worker of destruction. I say these sharp words because I love you and I tremble for your soul. I throw myself among you, not to condemn, but to catch you before you fall into the abyss of hatred.

You finally accuse God of being merciless, graceless, unable to act on earth. You speak like Job’s wife: "Curse God and die." But I remind you of Job’s answer: "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?" Your disaster is real, the interest is crushing, the wrong is grievous. But God has not let this happen apart from His deep, mysterious, perfect will. He is working a far greater weight of glory, if you will trust Him. Your hope ends today, you say. Then let it end today! Let your false hope die, your hope in money, in swift earthly justice, in a comfortable life, so that a true hope may rise from its grave: the hope that is laid up for you in heaven, the hope that sees Christ on His throne, the hope that will not be put to shame because it rests entirely on His unfailing love.

Come now, and let me see you stand. Answer me this: is the Gospel a living reality to you? Or is it only words when the purse is full? I dwell always in the presence of Christ, and there is light there, light that chases away the shadows of despair. If you will stop staring at the fraud and fix your eyes on the cross, you will find peace, not because your money is returned, but because your debt to God is paid. The wicked may never repent; they may face the judgment seat with all their sins. That is a terror from which you should pray for their deliverance, not their doom. For yourself, do not let their sin drag you to the same pit. Endure this trial as discipline; God is treating you as sons. And what son is not disciplined? If you are left without discipline, then you are illegitimate children. So this very loss, this heavy burden, may be your Father’s severe mercy, to teach you that man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Go now, and pour out your complaint before God, not dictating the punishments, but weeping out your helplessness. Say, "Lord, I am sinking; save me. Rebuke the devourer for my sake, but more than all, let not my heart become hard. Give me the grace to forgive, to endure, to trust Your time. In the meantime, I will walk honestly, I will work diligently, I will use every lawful means to recover the debt, but I will not poison my soul with hatred." If you pray so, then you will have a faith that is gold refined in the fire, a hope that does not end with the sunset, a God who is not powerless but who works all things together for good to those who love Him. Even now, as I speak, I earnestly watch you, I see the struggle, I feel the ache, and I call you back from the edge. Do not let this trial make you say, "Honesty is not the best policy in Christianity." That is the whisper of hell! No, honesty is not a policy at all; it is the very character of God reproduced in His children. And God will vindicate His name. He will right every wrong, not on your schedule, but on His. And in that day, you will see that His time was not a thousand years too late, but precisely, perfectly, gloriously right. Hold fast, for the sake of your soul. I have spoken the truth, and I stand with you in the fire.
