Prayer request

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, I thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest and for baby ### for healing and for ### for favor and a new ###

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His goodness and mercy, lifting up this prayer request in faith. First, we thank God for the gift of rest, for He promises in His Word, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB). We pray for deep, rejuvenating rest for you and all those mentioned, trusting that the Lord will refresh your spirit, mind, and body according to His perfect will.

For baby , we cry out for complete healing. The Lord is our Healer, and we stand on the promise that "by His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We ask that You lay Your healing hands upon this little one, restoring health, strength, and vitality. May the Great Physician touch every part of their body, bringing wholeness and peace. We declare that no sickness or disease has a hold on this child, for You are greater than all.

For , we pray for favor, favor in every area of life. May the Lord open doors that no man can shut and grant wisdom, opportunity, and divine connections. "For You, Lord, will bless the righteous. With favor, You will surround him as with a shield" (Psalm 5:12 WEB). We ask that Your favor go before them, making their paths straight and their steps ordered by You.

For the new , we pray that it be established in God’s perfect will. Whether this is a new season, a new opportunity, or a new relationship, we ask that it be rooted in righteousness and aligned with Your Word. If this is a new marriage or courtship, we pray it honors You, reflecting the love and commitment described in Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB). If it is a new endeavor, may it bring glory to Your name and bear fruit for Your kingdom.

We also take a moment to address any areas where our hearts may not fully align with God’s Word. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that could hinder these prayers, we repent and ask for cleansing by the blood of Jesus. If this request involves relationships, we remind ourselves that God’s design for marriage is between one man and one woman, and any union outside of this is not in accordance with His will. We pray for clarity, purity, and godly wisdom in all relationships, that they may honor Christ above all else.

Lastly, we want to emphasize the power of the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we lift up this request to You, trusting in Your goodness, mercy, and power. We ask for rest, healing, favor, and new beginnings, all for Your glory. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, knowing that You are working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28 WEB). May Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be praised. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re joining you in thanking God for His goodness, and we’re lifting up each of these needs with you. It’s clear you’re carrying a lot on your heart, a little one who needs healing, someone you care about waiting for a fresh start, and your own need for deep, restoring rest. That can feel heavy, especially when you’re watching people you love go through hard things.

One small thing that might help: maybe tonight, as you settle into bed, you could simply picture each of these concerns, baby , , your own weary body and mind, and quietly hand them to Jesus, one by one. Not as a way to solve everything, but as a way to let your own shoulders drop, even for a moment, trusting He sees and carries what we cannot.

We don’t know all the details, but we know the One who does. And we know He invites us to come to Him just as we are, with gratitude and neediness mixed together, which is exactly what you’ve done. So we pray with you now.

Jesus, thank You for this person’s grateful heart. Please bring healing to baby, touch that little body and bring comfort and strength. Open the right door for , granting favor and the new thing they’re hoping for. And Lord, give this dear pray-er the rest that restores body, mind, and soul. Let them wake refreshed, with a quiet confidence that You are at work in all of it. Amen.

It is well that you have turned your eyes toward the Lord, for He is good, and His mercy endures forever. The rest you seek is not a mere slumber of the body, but that deep repose of spirit which Christ gives to all who come to Him. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,” He calls, “and I will give you rest.” This is a rest to be had now, perfect and present, not delayed until death. Yet mark this: the rest He gives is not idleness, for our souls must be active, but it is an exchange of yokes. Your own burden galls and bruises; His burden is light, His yoke is easy. Lie down this night trusting in Jesus, and you shall find even your sleep sanctified, as one who rests in the arms of the Eternal God, your refuge and your abiding place.

Concerning the dear little one, the healing you crave is ever flowing from the Tree of Life, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue; even the hem of His garment can make the sick whole. Present this infant before the throne of grace, for when the Lord Jesus walked among us, He took children in His arms and blessed them. His hands, once pierced, are yet stretched forth to heal; His blood avails for the youngest lamb in the flock. Rest in this: that with pardon comes a new life that conquers every distemper, and the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings.

As for the favor you seek and the new thing yet unnamed, remember that our heavenly Father delights to give good gifts to His children. When His favor shines upon us, it is as a sweet savor of rest, like the offering Noah made, which caused the Lord to smell a soothing aroma and to establish His covenant. Perhaps you stand at an extremity where all human help fails; blessed be that extremity, for it is God’s opportunity. The Lord will go before you, preparing the way. He who is the God of my mercy shall go before me; He will not leave you to tread an untrodden path alone. That new thing, though hidden now, is kept for you by the hand that bled to make it yours.

Trust, and you shall enter into rest. Trust, and healing shall flow. Trust, and favor shall be your portion. The pearly doorway into all this is simple faith. Look alone to Jesus, and you shall find salvation and all these mercies added to you. May the Lord begin at Jerusalem, begin with you this very hour.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have offered thanks to God for His goodness, and this is right, for every good gift comes from above. But take care that your thanksgiving is not merely on your lips; let your life be a constant hymn of gratitude, and you will find that the rest you seek springs from this very soil. You pray for good rest. Remember that the Lord Himself calls out, "Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." The rest He gives is not simply the ceasing of bodily labor, but the deep calm of a soul anchored in faith and love. Do not seek rest as the world gives, through comfort or escape, but enter the true Sabbath rest that remains for the people of God by holding fast your hope and not hardening your heart through unbelief.

For the little one you lift up for healing, know that the mercy of God is far greater than we can ask or imagine. He does not merely withhold punishment but makes us righteous, sons and heirs, through the overflowing grace that is in Christ Jesus. The child’s healing may come through many means, but the foundation of every mercy is the faith and love that are in Christ. Pray with confidence, yet also trust the wisdom of the Physician of our souls, who sometimes grants physical relief and at other times perfects our patience. In either case, He works for our salvation.

Your request for favor and something new for another, I take it you mean temporal blessing and fresh opportunity, must be placed against the warning not to be choked by the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches. True favor comes not from men but from the hand of God, who lifts up the humble. Encourage this person to labor first for the kingdom, and whatever is added will truly be a blessing. But be on guard: if the new thing sought is earthly promotion or gain, test it by whether it draws the soul nearer to Christ or entangles it further in fleeting shadows.

Above all, see in every need an invitation to give yourself in love, for in serving others, especially the weak and the poor, you become a cheerful giver and a healer of your own wounds. The mercy you show will return to you a hundredfold, not necessarily in coin but in the peace of a heart that has lent to the Lord. Let your prayers then be coupled with deeds of hospitality and self-giving, and you will find that the yoke of Christ is light indeed.

Thank you for your prayer. It’s good to turn our hearts toward the Lord with gratitude. You’ve asked for rest, healing for a baby, and favor for something new. These all point to a deeper need we all share, a need to enter into the rest God gives.

The rest that matters most isn’t just a good night’s sleep, though that is a gift. It’s the soul’s quiet confidence in God, the kind that holds steady even when circumstances remain uncertain. That rest comes through faith alone, trusting not in what our hands can make happen, but in what Christ has already accomplished for us. The writer of Hebrews warns us not to fall short of that promise, like those in the wilderness who heard good news but never mixed it with faith. We who believe do enter that rest. So when you ask for rest, ask for the kind that quiets your heart in every season. It is found only as you lean fully on Jesus and his finished work, not on your own efforts to control outcomes.

You mention healing for a baby. The Lord is able. He formed that little life, and his power is not limited by what we have or haven’t seen. We should pray with boldness and trust, not shrinking back because our materialistic culture makes us skeptical. At the same time, remember that the greatest miracle God ever works in any life is not physical healing but salvation, the forgiveness of sins and union with Christ. That doesn’t make bodily healing unimportant, but it sets it in the right place. The same God who can grow new limbs on a creature in nature certainly has authority over this child’s body. We bring our request, but we rest in his wisdom and his timing, knowing he is good even when we don’t understand.

For favor and something new, whether a job, a home, or a fresh start, resist the pull to curry favor with people out of anxiety. The rest of faith means you don’t have to scheme or force doors open. God’s favor rests on those who trust him. So entrust the outcome to him, even as you do what is right. Don’t let unbelief keep you circling the wilderness when a promised land lies ahead.

May you, and all you’ve named before the Lord, truly enter that rest, the rest that comes when you cease from your own works and place your weight fully upon the faithfulness of God.
