Prayer request

Beloved of All
I need prayers and strength to keep trying because last year I was watching something very bad and it tries and sometimes pop up to my head and goes away and I let it. It was about this inappropriate step-siblings relationship and the end of the chapter the step-sister got pregnant, had a child, and married later. It's sick and illegal, and I didn't realize authors are super sick some because I was searching a kissing video being cheeky and I saw it recommended and I ignored at first then watched it more. They had porn of course too for months. I stayed away from it, which is good since January of 2025. It's May 20, 2026, I need nonstop prayers and to do my part to control it and to continue to be trained by God no matter what, even if it's bad curiosity. I deserve a clean, healthy mind, not allowing the devil trying to attack me and get the best of me. I feel ok because God is always there for me, but in the mornings I'm mentally not feeling ok and afternoons sometimes, but mostly mornings. I really need prayers badly, and there are times I mostly need prayers because I don't know how to pray and say much, and I really need to learn more how to and never give up for past days I slept more feeling not myself because of it. Out of nowhere, it tries to pop up in my head. I think because of my actions of course, but please keep praying for me. I really appreciate this and I want a work-from-home job, anything good that doesn't require ID because I'm very poor. We are good with food, thanks to God, and I need prayers for that and my mom and siblings and me spiritually and mentally, and hopefully my mom be freed from smoking weed. She's a good person, but everyone has personal addictions because we all go through a lot. I love drawing, and this guy wanted to pay me $100 every end of the month for sharing my drawing to him for his music career album, but I sadly rejected it. But I really need prayers because I don't want to depend on nobody and trust and depend on God only, and no matter how hard it is, I want to stick with God through the lows and highs. Prayers for my brothers and sisters, not just my blood ones, everyone I don't know and know. We need to find another hotel this Friday because New Jersey has a lame 14 or 30-day limit stay for 2 bedrooms and a sofa and kitchen. I have 3 siblings and my mom.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace. First, we must address the seriousness of what you confessed, watching and indulging in sexually immoral and perverse content, including that which glorifies incest and fornication, is sin in God’s eyes. Scripture is clear: "But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28). The enemy uses curiosity and temptation to ensnare, but we serve a God who provides a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). You have already taken the first step by turning away since January, and that is commendable. But we must rebuke the lies that this content is harmless or that you "deserve" to struggle with its lingering effects. No, you deserve the freedom Christ purchased for you, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).

The mornings are hard because the enemy attacks when you are vulnerable, but we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You are not alone in this battle. The Holy Spirit is your Helper, and we join with you in prayer, asking God to renew your mind daily through His Word. "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:2). Fill your mind with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Replace those images with Scripture, worship, and godly fellowship. You must also take practical steps, install accountability software, avoid triggers, and confess to a trusted believer who can pray with you.

We also lift your financial struggles before the Lord. You are right to seek provision from Him alone, for He knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8). But faith without works is dead (James 2:17), so we encourage you to seek honest work diligently. The Lord can open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We pray for a work-from-home opportunity that aligns with your skills, even if it starts small. Trust Him to provide, but also be willing to step out in faith. Your rejection of the $100 offer was wise if it came with strings or compromise, but do not despise small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10). God sees your heart’s desire to honor Him, and He will reward your faithfulness.

For your family, we pray fervently. Your mother’s struggle with weed is a spiritual battle, and we rebuke the spirit of addiction in Jesus’ name. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray for her deliverance and for your siblings to walk in godliness. The hotel situation is stressful, but the Lord knows your needs. We ask Him to provide shelter that is safe, affordable, and beyond what you could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Trust Him to go before you.

Lastly, we must address your prayer life. You are not alone in feeling inadequate in prayer, even the disciples asked Jesus to teach them (Luke 11:1). Start simply. The Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Pray Scripture back to God, like Psalm 51:10: "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me." Spend time in His presence daily, even if it’s just a few minutes. The more you seek Him, the more you will desire Him.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You for Your mercy and grace that covers this dear one’s past. Lord, we ask You to break every chain of addiction to sinful content. Cleanse their mind, heart, and eyes with the blood of Jesus. Renew their thoughts and fill them with Your truth. Father, we rebuke the enemy’s attempts to torment them with flashbacks or guilt. Your Word says there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), so we declare that over them now. Strengthen them in their weakest moments, especially in the mornings. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind.

Lord, we ask You to open doors of provision for them. Provide a work-from-home job that is honorable and meets their needs. Give them wisdom to manage resources and favor in the eyes of potential employers. Father, we also pray for their family, deliver their mother from addiction, heal their relationships, and provide stable housing. Let Your presence go before them as they seek a new place to stay.

Father, we ask You to deepen their prayer life. Teach them to pray without ceasing, to seek You first in all things. Surround them with godly community that will encourage and hold them accountable. Lord, we pray for all their brothers and sisters in Christ, near and far, that You would strengthen them in their faith and meet their needs as well.

We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak healing, restoration, and breakthrough over every area of their life. Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep pressing into God, replacing lies with truth, and trusting Him for every need. You are not defined by your past, but by the One who died to set you free. Walk in that freedom today.

We’ve all struggled with thoughts that pop into our heads when we least expect them, and the enemy would love to use that against us. But we want you to know that God hasn’t left you in this fight, He’s right there with you, every step of the way. When those memories or urges come back, don’t let shame or discouragement weigh you down. Instead, lift your eyes to Jesus and ask Him to replace the darkness with His light.

We’re praying for strength for you each morning, because we know those are the hardest times. Ask the Holy Spirit to guard your heart and mind, and fill your days with things that honor God, whether it’s worship music, Scripture, or even your artwork. God can turn even the hardest things into something beautiful, and we believe He’s doing that in your life right now.

Your faith is stronger than you realize, and God sees your heart’s desire to honor Him. Keep trusting Him, even when the road feels unclear. He hasn’t forgotten you, and He’s already working in ways you can’t see yet.

Father, we lift this dear one up to You, asking for Your peace to flood their mind and heart. Break every chain, renew their strength, and surround them with Your presence. Provide for their needs, heal their family, and give them the courage to keep walking in faith. Thank You that You are always with them. In Jesus’ name we pray.
